JDS Express

Costco uses a delivery company that subcontracted local delivery for my shed to JBS Express. I tried to leave my home for an appointment on delivery day, only to discover that the shed had been dropped in the middle of my driveway, blocking access to my garage. No doorbell ring or knock on the door to ask me where to leave the skid or to let me know the delivery had arrived. I phoned the company to let them know the situation, and their response was, I'm sorry that this happened

It seems that JDS Express is going out of business this date (April 28/2023) My order from Costco is now in limbo as Kevin at JDS told me all items in their warehouse are being removed and he knows not where to.

My recent purchase of 2 Recliners from Costco were delivered by JDS Express and it was flawless. A gentleman called from the office to arrange delivery and the gentleman that brought them went above and beyond. Thanks, much appreciated.

I just want to say that if I need to ship or receive anything, I hope that JDS Express is involved. Jen is so easy to deal with and she worked hard to make it convenient for us, and then the driver - well, what can I say about that fella? He was just the best, kindest, easiest person to have deliver a load of top-heavy, pallet-wrapped cabinets, that ever drove in our lane. What a prize!! Thanks to JDS Express for a job well done!

Lots of bad reviews here, but can't say I had any issues. JDS did have my item for a week before they delivered, however they delivered on the day they quoted and the driver was friendly and put the item in the driveway right where I would have liked it to go. Item (treadmill from costco) was delivered in perfect condition.

Home Depot hired Day&Ross, they subcontracted to JDS. I've been chasing this order since last week. No one could give me any information, since I didn't know until it arrived, who had it or when to expect it. The driver was defensive and told me to order from a different company in future, and that all he gets is complaints from customers. Perhaps JDS needs to open the lines of communication, so the drivers don't get the brunt of late deliveries. Oh, and this also reflects badly on Home Depot. Never again, will I order online. AND, Mr. Driver, I am not too lazy to go to the store"

Great service. Ordered a couch from Costco and received a call to set up delivery for Wednesday. Just as we were leaving the house JDS truck pulled up. They were coming our way and loaded the couch just in case they could deliver it early for us. We explained we weren't ready, and they were very good about. Came the next morning right at the time they said they would. Unloaded the couch, set it all in place and took the packing items and were gone in a flash.Great Service provider. Very accommodating.

I was in complete shock when approaching my house at 10 AM in the morning BOTH these employees (see pic) of JDS Express Courier are parked in front of my driveway urinating on the street. I honked my horn but obviously these 'class acts' of decency hired by this company continued since my wife and I had to wait on them to finish. This forced my wife to give them distance and walk past them to get into our home for an appointment.In my opinion this is not a company to sub-contract to or use for delivery services with such employees, especially since not even a minutes drive to the main intersection there are multiple restaurants, etc. with the appropriate facilities for them to relieve themselves. Look for the video proof on YouTube since there are video cameras covering the entire area in the front - stupid!

The most disgusting company I have dealt with to-date. Failed to deliver on the date as indicated by Home Depot. Had to call them to schedule the delivery date and was given a time between 8am and 4pm as they clearly think people in Belleville are all unemployed. I happened to be at home but nobody rang the doorbell, or called to inform me of the delivery . The big heavy box was left in my driveway even though it was raining. When I called to complain, I had the further displeasure of speaking to an extremely arrogant and rude woman who told me that I didn't request to be called and why should I be complaining if my goods were delivered. It seems they haven't heard of common decency or Standard practice where companies inform you of the delivery, especially when delivery means dumping it in the driveway. Dealing with such a low level company and the arrogant woman answering their phone has really put me off ordering online things from Home Depot. It's not their fault,but they are ultimately responsible for the riff raff they outsource to.

Ordered a 20'x8' shed from Costco. It shipped in 4 days from Calgary to Mississauga. According to Day & Ross tracking, it has been sitting at JDS for the past 11 days...but JDS can't tell me for certain that they have it. They are supposed to contact me to arrange delivery, when they find it. They told me they received 4 truck loads from Day & Ross recently and are very busy. Too busy in my opinion.
