I had a great experience at the Square One location! Though the store was full of a lot of customers the staff made sure I was well taken care of. From my doctor's appointment to glasses purchase everything went smoothly. Can't wait for my new pair to come in!

I have been shopping from this brand for the past three years. Glasses and sunglasses are top quality with affordable price. I love how they often have promotions too. I recently got the buy one get the second pair for $75 off. Total was $253 for a new pair of funky eyeglasses and sunglasses! All my visits were pleasant. All employees are kind, super helpful, honest, attentive and knowledgeable. I ended up staying a bit longer while chatting with another girl because she made me feel so comfortable. She made sure every little detail was accurate in order to avoid any errors. Will continue to support this lovely local business!

This store is nice, has an amazing selection of glasses for a decent price. I was helped by Sobi who was very sweet and super helpful. She knew exactly what I wanted by a brief description. Her suggestions were amazing. I ended up going with the frames that she recommended and I can’t wait to receive them soon. I’m definitely going to recommend this place to friends in the future.

ALEXIS at the Bonlook SQ1 location is absolutely top notch!! I have heard great things about Bonlook through word of mouth and wanted to give it a try. From the moment walking into the store until pick up, the experience was fantastic, everyone was friendly and welcoming and I cannot rave about Alexis enough. She is the epitome of customer experience. I ordered prescription eyeglasses with bluelight. I have never tried bluelight glasses before and when I received them, the tint and reflection just was not for me. I spent almost $500 on these glasses and was so worried I would not be able to get a refund/exchange. I returned to the location and Alexis assured me they would remake my glasses without bluelight. She never made me feel like it was my fault for adding the bluelight to my glasses, she simply offered to remake these for me. I was so relieved and thrilled. She placed another order and I received my glasses within 5 days. Thank you for being so kind and accomodating, Alexis. I really appreciate your service and making things right.

Giving this place a 1/5, the store associate and manager didnt make eye contact with me and refused to help me out to shop. They said I needed a mask. They didn’t offer me one as well.I told them I am a lenscrafter customer as well, that didn’t budge for them, they missed a good sales opportunity with me.If they spoke to me nicer I would have refrained from posting this review.I will let my friends and family know about this negative shopping experience.There are plenty competitors eye glasses stores in square one mall, I am looking for the right shopping experience.This review was given after the provincial mask enforcement was dropped*

Ordered from them in 2019 and it went super smoothly! So I returned this year, and it was nothing like the first time. The glasses took 3 weeks to arrive only for me to be told that they didn’t pass the final check at the store and had to be done again. Upon further inquiry, I found that the wrong frames were also ordered. The online support promised a speedier delivery this time around, with the correct frame and a compensation. Nevertheless, the order took an additional 3 weeks. When I came to pick up my glasses, they were the correct frame but much thicker than expected for 1.74 extra thinning I paid for. Due to the thick lenses, and the wide set frame, my face gets distorted and I don’t like them. I was not advised that the wider frame would result in this when I first placed the order nor was I offered any real solution at the store when I picked the glasses up. Not to mention there were other unhappy customers at the time when I was picking up so the optician did not offer to adjust the glasses for extra comfort, I was told to try another optical and return glasses within 30 days if I still don’t like them. I would have given them 1 star for this experience but added 1 more for positive first time in 2019 and another for their unprompted 50% off compensation. They have better prices than other opticals at the mall so I may return next time, though not sure if the hassle is worth it.Edit: ordered frames from Costco (half the price and arrived in less than a week), Costco said they could only do 1.67 thinning vs bonlook where I paid extra for 1.74. I told the Bonlook employee that the lenses I received were not thinned and she assured me they were. Here is a side by side photo of Bonlook frames with “more” thinning vs Costco. As you can see, no thinning was applied to the Bonlook frames. Will be returning. So disappointing cause I loved my 2019 glasses from Bonlook.

Today I totalled my glasses by sitting on them by mistake, was expecting to have to hunt for new frames. Really hard for me to find frames that complement my face. The frames I broke were bought here from 2019 so I was not expecting to find the same style. HOWEVER Bryan was able to find a demo pair of the exact same ones! I waited less than 15 mins to have my lenses transferred into the new frames. Very pleased with this visit as I was anticipating to be looking for a new pair. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. I didn’t have an appointment but they were able to accommodate my surprise visit. Thank you again!!!! I was very lucky today

Great location on the second floor. This unit is very organized and staff is very helpful. Definitely knowledgeable with all the products they have. They have a great appointment system and protocol in place for the pandemic to serve their customers. Customers can try on the glasses and place them in a tray to get sanitized later by employees.Hit or miss on the one employee that has a weird customer service vibe (kept telling me I'm wrong about my previous order from 2 years ago and gave me a slight off-putting experience from the previous and current service). Also, glasses are supposedly delivered around the 8-10 days mark, but mine had not passed a quality check and took a total of full month to pick up due to disruption. Could have ordered from somewhere else like Warby Parker and got my glasses in 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks.Otherwise, store is good, reliable staff and outputs all your receipts via email to submit for work benefits/insurance.Note: There's at least 3-4 other glasses shop stores in the mall if you can't find the style you want at Bonlook.

Great experience, as always! I've been coming to this store for the past 4 years for glasses and they have offered excellent customer service since day one! Highly recommend Bonlook to anyone looking for quality shades at solid prices.

I bought a pair of glasses at the Square One location. The glasses are fine, but I found their customer service is highly lacking. When picking up my new purchase, and once fitted, I asked if they could tighten my current pair so I could keep them as a spare pair. The person assisting me asked if I purchased them from BonLook, and when I said no, she replied that it is policy they do not adjust any glasses other than their own. I said I have never had this response from anywhere I have ever purchased any previous glasses. Any other company I have purchased from has gladly tightened current glasses no problem. Receiving glasses that you are happy with are great, but the even larger part of the equation is getting good service. I will never purchase another pair from BonLook. I want good glasses and service.
