Walk-in Clinic at Walmart Sage Hill by Jack Nathan Health

I had a generally good experience here. Didn’t have to wait on hold. Came in as a walk in and didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes to see a doctor. The doctor and staff I seen was veryyy kind and personable.I only have one complaint. Which I say only to help for future reference.When I seen my doctor I told her that I think I had tonsil stones and when she looked she said she saw nothing. I said no look again and I showed her. Before telling me she took out a swab and kind of aggressively swabbed my very swollen tonsils. She prescribed me meds and I when home.When I left I noticed I started having severe pain swallowing which I didn’t have before. I had a full meal with minimal pain before I went to the clinic, and afterward I could barely swallow my own saliva. On top of that, I don’t even think she packaged the swab for any kind of testing. So all this pain for nothing(?)Point is, please let your patients know what you’re going to do before you do it. Because had I known I would’ve told you to be gentle or asked to do it myself.

I am a patient here, but am confused about how I am supposed to book an appointment when I’ve been calling 4 days in a row and not a single person has answered the phone?I also received a call from the receptionist about 3 weeks ago about a referral, saying she would try to find me alternative options and would call me back, then never heard back again. I had a phone appointment with the doctor, who told me her work hours were mornings/afternoons. Received a phone call from her at 6 and 7pm when I was busy.If you’re willing to wait weeks/months for a referral/appointment, this is the right clinic for you!

I just wanted to write a note saying that Dr. Khan was so lovely when we took my daughter to the walk in here. She’s nine and is pretty anxious going into a doctor but he made her feel at ease so quickly. He spoke directly to her as she was the patient and had a very calm demeanour. Further from our house but will definitely go there again.As well, the nurse that took us back to our room was also very lovely and polite.Thank you for the wonderful care provided.

We went to 3 different walk-ins in the area between 6:15 and 6:50 pm, all stated they closed at either 8 or 9 pm yet every one was locked and no longer accepting patients. I called this clinic expecting that I would need to BEG for someone to see my daughter but the delightful lady at the desk said bring her right in, we can see her. We were registered quickly and seen immediately; the whole experience was quick, easy, and very refreshing after our earlier experiences!!Thank you guys again SO MUCH!!!!

With my family doctor out of town, I was in need of seeing a doctor at a walk-in clinic. Stumbled upon Sage Medical Clinic and boy was I surprised by their excellent service. Like some of the reviews said the waiting room is a bit chaotic but that is a small price to pay due to the excellent quality of their doctors. Dr. Khan is hands down one of the most caring doctors I have ever seen and he genuinely provided such good care. If all doctors were like Dr. Khan the Canadian Health Care System wouldn't be so screwed up. Even considering switching to Sage Medical Clinic full time in the future. Thank you!

I went to the clinic for the testing and while the testing I had change my clothe and wear something else. Usually when I do the test, all the doctors I have seen left the room while changing my clothe. However, the doctor who saw me was staying in the room before and after changing my clothe. I was so embarrassed. I just did it because we are same gender but it was not very professional and awful.So I did the test in the middle of the weekday and they were supposed to get the result by Saturday. I called them if I can talk to any doctor from the clinic because I want to do something (like taking medication or whatever) for my problem as soon as possible. The receptionist told me I only can talk to the doctor who requested for the testing.So I waited until Monday and they made me a phone call appointment between 9am-2pm. Of course no one called me so I had to call them back again. And now the doctor who requested for the testing was gone for the day then they are allowing me to talk to another doctor who didn’t request for the testing. Okay so I finally got the phone call after 7pm very end of the day and what the doctor told me is that the testing specimen is compromised. So I had to do the testing again, I need to wait again, and I am still sick.Thank you. I am never going to visit that clinic again.By the way, the receptionist on that day I did testing was really nice.+ also the doctor misdiagnosed me

Dr.Khan is so professional and respectful, I visited the clinic yesterday and my baby daughter was scared to see a doctor but he calmed her down and was so kind with her, the clinic is clean and the staff are nice, Diana is so kind and helpful. Waiting time is not long, I consider this clinic the best among all the clinics that I visited in Calgary. thank you all I really appreciate your efforts.

I have visited here 3 times due to having to wait 2 weeks to see my personal physician. Although it was busy I got in to see a doctor each time within 45 minutes. They were friendly and to the point. No small talk, just medical business. I’m going back

They have Excellent service, they serve such a densely & ethnically diverse populated area, and they manage to minimize wait times and quickly see their patients. Currently I do have a great doctor, however it's hard to get into to see him, due to the busyness of his clinic, hopefully this clinic plants more clinics that have this same type of approach, and I may switch over to this clinic as my family doctor.

This place never answers the phone when you call to make an appointment or ask if they are still taking walk-ins. I have driven out of my way 3 times now, as this is one of the only places that is open on the weekends, while not feeling well, to go there only to be told they are not taking walk-ins. Canadian health care is really falling through the cracks, especially in Alberta (I am from another province). I travel the world and I have had far better medical experience in so-called second or third world countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, and Honduras - yes HONDURAS. So if it is so great why don't I move somewhere else? Well I am - the current Canada is over hyped and for the birds...open your eyes people and ask questions of your government and hold them accountable or at least throw them out on their ear when they underperform...
