HRS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Called up to enquire if there was a room available for rent. The woman with name begining with L answering the phone was extremely rude even with no provocation whatsoever. She made me feel like I was doing something wrong by enquiring. For no reason, she told me to mind my own business" and ended the call. I then asked my wife to call her as I thought woman to woman conversation may work better. She was extremely rude to my wife too and told her rudely to go search for a room elsewhere and ended the call abruptly. This left my wife all upset and shaken.Management of this building please take note of this person's behavior which is not at all Canadian-like and has tones of hostility in them. She should not be doing such Customer Service. I will be calling again and will be compelled to report such behavior to third party authorities if I encounter the same brashness."

Horrible maintenance, there is no AC and they said they fixed it when it was never fixed. They are a SCAM!! So many things wrong with their properties but they won’t take the initiative to fix it. Also laundry is expensive they charge a lot within their properties just don’t rent here.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. HRS is the worst company I have leased with. DO NOT RENT WITH THEMTo start off, we were welcomed by roaches when we moved in and had to do a very in-depth cleaning of the unit. While doing this clean, we found old food behind the fridge and by the sink that was clearly left there before we had moved in. The unit was not cleaned at all before we moved in so be expected to be charged for cleaning even if it's not your fault when you move out.In the winter there was also water that builds up by the windows and will leak onto the floor, causing mold to form. You can try to call maintenance but chances are, it will take them forever to come and help or not help at all.We also had to call the cops 3 times due to homeless people that were sleeping in our lobby as well as one of them trying to break into our unit. We felt so unsafe living in this building, I am so glad we moved out.Before I had moved out of the unit, there was someone that broke into my room and stole 99% of my belongings. I had emailed HRS asking them for help but they took two weeks to respond just for them to tell me that there was no recorded footage from the incident even though they have cameras on every floor.When garbage was overflowing, they sent emails to us threatening to charge whoever left the garbage outside of the bins because apparently, they have video footage. BUT when it came to someone robbing my room they did not have any footage.I would've liked this review to be anonymous because of the very petty responses that they leave back but I am so ready to hear what petty responses they will leave for me.My advice is to make sure you read every single review before leasing with anybody, ESPECIALLY HRS.Update: They charged us $510 for a cleaning fee and never sent us a breakdown of how they got this amount. Also, our lease ended in August and they sent us a hydro bill. HRS does not reply to emails or phone calls unless they get paid. They are horrible, please never rent with them.

54 Smallwood Drive apartment was a complete disaster. It was filthy, smelly, and infested with cockroaches. I couldn't sleep or relax due to the constant noise from other tenants, and the property management was completely unresponsive to maintenance requests. It's clear that they don't care about the well-being of their tenants. If I could give this dump a zero-star rating, I would. Stay far away from this nightmare of an apartment.

Please don't lease with them. Don't even think about getting the key deposit (200 dollars) back ,even if it is refundable. They will come up with some random excuses of cleanliness to hold that money back.

LTB case in process. The same stuff everyone is saying in reviews, I have my own horror stories and saving it for court.What happened to human rights? What happened to honest people? I’m an 8th generation Canadian and I “was” proud of this country and it’s values but I can no longer be proud, just disgusted and sad.

I love the apartment that I live in, and the process of signing the lease and getting the keys was a breeze. I have also had very few problems with the maintenance staff that has helped me fix multiple problems that have taken place at the apartment. Thanks!

I had a really bad experience with HRS Team. I was located at their 110 Columbia Street unit. There were multiple issues but I will explain 2 of them here.1. It was lease takeover. So there is was inspection by the team. When I left the rooms and they charged me for a dirty mattress sheet which they had failed to otherwise address during their so called regular visits. They asked me to pay $80 and were not ready to return my key deposit if $200. The inspection wasn’t done while I was vacating the room. The team made the videos after the new tenants had moved in. So legitimate reasons.2. Bed bug in the apartment. When we asked them for a pest control, they agreed. However, despite the pest control team listing in the receipt that the previous tenants, they still had the audacity to ask us to pay for their lack of hygiene in the apartment.
