Mary is a great instructor. She is patient and explains every details in makeup beauty, from brush techniques to applying colour theory.the school teaches from every day soft look to bridal glam. I recommend dash beauty bar makeup school to everyone no matter what makeup skills background.

Dash provided excellent aesthetic services for my wedding in October 2016. Mary and her team did very beautiful makeup for me and 5 others in the bridal party. From the makeup trial to the wedding, their style is very communicative. Mary tried to understand my expectations and what I envisioned in advance through conversation at her studio. On the day of the wedding, they worked step by step with my bridal party during the process of applying make up. They consulted each person about allergies and sensitivities before applying specific products. They practiced high hygienic standards and were very dependable with the agreed-upon schedule. Mary is very experienced and passionate about what she does. Mary has a gentle and agile touch when applying eyeliners and facial products. For someone who is not used to wearing makeup regularly, the experience was very pleasant. Mary's hairstyle artist also did a wonderful job for my hair and my bridal party's. She took her task seriously. Altogether we have received excellent service from Mary and her team. I highly recommend Dash Beauty Bar.

Mary is amazing at what she does. I learned so much from her. I have more confidence with makeup application now. Her bridal workshop was a added bonus.

Mary and her team are top notch and highly skilled at what they do. My first class was the beginner make up artist class and I learned a tonn and my skills evolved exponentially as the classes are very hands on. The learning environment is very positive and all feedback is provided in a positive and empathetic manner. I will be definitely coming back for other classes.

I joined Dash for a certified makeup artistry course as a beginner. The course covered everything starting from what makeup brushes to use to the bridal business. Mary and other teachers are extremely patient, highly experienced, and just brilliant at what they do. They are very professional and with small class sizes, each student gets personal attention that it needs. It is very hands-on and all encapsulated in a short course with a reasonable fee. I learnt a lot, made friends, and had an amazing time. I would recommend DASH a hundred percent and I assure that you would not be disappointed for choosing it!!

I had my first ever personal makeup class with Mary and I cannot express how much of a wonderful experience I gained. She explained the concepts of everyday makeup extremely well, including how even just a little makeup can make a person look beautiful. The tricks she shared to clean the brushes was excellent and is something I will be definitely be following for the rest of my life. Her place is well maintained and clean, and all Covid-19 precautions were followed very well. Mary is a professional in every sense of the word - she is a true master of her craft and believe it's her passion for the industry that makes her such a success. I took Numerous courses at Dash Beauty Bar the teachers were great the owner of the business is very cooperative and helpful to get me registered and set up and started and I am going back to take more courses because they’re that good at what they do. I appreciate the help in their commitment to making me go forward in the business that I’m going to be opening up and continue to use them for assistance and more schooling & hopefully be able to send them more students because they’re that good my best friend and I took the eye lash course we both loved it, Definitely going back to do the micro blading and all the other courses would recommend well worth the money spent taking this course !

Dash provided a great opportunity for students to learn makeup, including myself. Makeup theories and applications. Mary is really good in teaching and demonstrating proper makeup applications. I really enjoy the learning experience myself, as well as the makeup artistry course with Mary. Mary is very inspring because she is really good in what she is doing, and she has passions in helping others as well. She gives honest and proper feedbacks to students. She also gives students graduates opportunities to do makeup in a fashion show or bridal makeup so graduates can build up portfolio and be exposed to the field.
