Ferry Point campground

This is a great place to have a weekend camping trip. Beautiful view, nice place to paddle the Battle". Local folks are very friendly. Simple campground but very accommodating for group camping

This is a basic campground with minimal services and no staff on site. Camp spots are not well defined and a bit of a hodge podge, it's first come - first serve as to where you setup. There is access to the river and wildlife is nearby (many bird species, porcupines, coyotes, muskrats, etc.). Reasonable campground fees of $15 a night (2021) paid by drop box. Access to the badlands" is not available however as it is private land and no trespassing signs are posted! OK for camping a night or two and having river access but disappointing that there are no trails available on public land. Note you will need to travel on a gravel road for about 5 kilometers to get there. Public restrooms were still closed on June 2."

Amazing place nice and quiet

Nice little hidden gem of a campground. Affordable and we were lucky to get a nice spot right next to the river.

Nice little campground. Only a couple miles of gravel to get you it. Lower sites are nicely treed. One is a group site. Upper sites are large and open. Good for groups. Has a smaller playground with swings. Has access to the river for canoes/ kayaks. No beach type area.

Nice quiet campground. Would be enhanced by a nice place to swim!
