Honestly, I’m extremely disappointed. I signed with Jevco about a year and a half ago, when I bought my first vehicle. The only reason I went with them in the first place is because I was deemed “at risk” for a small accident when I was only G2 licensed. My payments were around $375 starting out. As a student, this payment was obviously not ideal but the need for a vehicle was much greater than that. Over the last 6 months, the service has gone down SIGNIFICANTLY. Customer service reps are incredibly rude, speak to you as if it is YOUR FAULT for their miscommunications. In the last week I’ve been sent emails stating my payments were decreasing (this made sense as I just got my full G license). I emailed my brokers back and was rudely told to ignore the emails as “they were not correct and sent out accidentally”. Overall, horrible experience. Am I thankful to have insurance? Sure! Am I happy with the service? Absolutely not. I will be cancelling this policy as soon as the end date nears. Just last month my payment was bounced and the month before was as well. I was told they’d advise me when the payment would be taken out again, which never happened, so it bounced AGAIN due to lack of communication. This has been by far the most stressful experience, especially given the amount of times they’ve bounced payments, changed payment dates last minute, etc. As a student, I am APPALLED. This is absolutely no way to treat your customers, especially when everyone of us are forking over hundreds and hundreds of dollars a month, JUST to have their vehicle insured.

My boyfriend got in a car accident in august was told all these different things about being contacted by a manager and by his appraiser Devon but never got contacted by either not once. A price was sent to him and a price was agreed upon and then they sent the check with the wrong amount(about $1000 under agreed price), they will try to rip you off! DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR INSURANCE!!! ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER AND THEIR BELONGINGS!! JUST ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE I CAN NOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH THEY OVERCHARGED THEN WHEN YOU NEED THEM ARE NOT THERE FOR YOU, PRETTY MUCH A MONEY GRAB FOR THEM IT IS RIDICULOUS!!

So they definitely have some work to do when it comes to communication. I was told I was no longer able to use Jevco because my record had improved. So I used up my last month payment. Then to find out 2 days before my policy was to expire infact my record had not had enough time yet to improve, and I was still high risk. This means more time paying more than 280$/month they go back the maximum time aloud 9 years. They are charging me for accident that happened in 2015...it's 2022. I never received a letter letting me know I was about to have no insurance nor did my broker. No letter telling me anything at all. In the last few hours of policy they decided to underwrite my policy for the 2022-23 period. My rate did go down by 15$ this year but after being told I was going to be going down by nearly 100$ it was a huge letdown. The customer service is not very good and seemly don't really know what is going on or maybe for one rep to another things change. I still don't know what caused all this confusion. If you do have to go with Jevco... because let's be real if you had a choice why would you... stay on things. Call everyday. If you are coming to the end of your policy... get on it long long before before they have the opportunity to mess it all up. This was all unavoidable if they maybe looked twice at my driving record before telling me that I was in better shape... come June all those accidents come off my record and I hope to God I never end up here again.. all this trouble could be avoided if I just had of drove better.

My broker is really nice. But the company seems to misstep pretty often, as well as give a lot of false promises and narratives.I have a $9600 I haven't been able to deposit. No joke. Since July. It's ridiculous.They also made an error and put on my claim that I was involved in two accidents. One of which being when I was still in driving school. Lol. It all seems like a huge joke.Hopefully this review will yield a solution.

If there was an option I to give 0 stars I would have selected that. Unprofessional staff and they straight up lie to you over call with details. Save yourself some trouble and dont waste your time with them.

I would never recommend this company. I've made consistent payments and made no claims for 2 years, second year my payments went down by roughly 100, second renewal it goes down only by only 65? Makes no sense.. I know friends with worse if driving records than mine with the same insurance details paying HUNDREDS less than me... Absolute scam, Not only that but customer service is virtually incompetent and rude. Judging by the rest of the reviews on this site id say they are one of the worst insurance companies out there. 11/10 would not recommend

When my payment is returned i might change this review. Switched companies a month and a half ago and you still take out a payment after the cancelation date ? I will harass you everyday until it is returned.

If I could give a 0 star I would. When I got my renewal, it went up! I haven't had any recent accidents or been pulled over in a long time. I've been trying to get the insurance down, these guys seem to make their own rules when it comes to their company. I can't afford $720 a month for insurance!! That's ridiculous! Not only that but it shows I have 4 accidents on the paperwork when I only had 2, Back in 2019. I also no longer have a lienholder and yet I got paper in saying that I do!?

STAY AWAY! These people, directors, owners are scammers, they lead you on, lie, fabricate. I can’t say enough to stay away from this company in anyway! Even brokers are refusing to write police’s with this carrier.UPDATE: Owner replies , please give us a call to discuss ??!!, Seems you have the time to reply to hundreds of disappointed clients , however as an owner you need to spend more time looking into claims , adjusters mis handling claims, looking over the history of your Google listing they are all 1 star. That’s not a surprise. I will be contacting Ombudsman, but your company needs to close its doors! You have lied to too many people!! The worst company in all on Canada insurers!
