East facing beach, should be sheltered if there is a west wind. Concession has awesome fries and friendly staff. Small playground on the beach. The gravel road from Borden (685) is not great, a bit too much for a day trip from Saskatoon.

Beautiful park, beautiful lake, beach is nice, campsites and washrooms are kept clean. Concession has pretty great food and good prices on everything, even ice cream.Only wish the fishing was better there!

Pleasantly surprised with out camp site- 88&87, lerger than expected and away from the main pathways. The sand beach is kept clean and the onsite concession has excellent food. The lake itself is salty compared to average however still swam with no concerns or complaints.

This is a perfect destination from Saskatoon for a half-day hike. It is necessarily an out-and-back hike, as the eastern side of the trail is blocked by a wired fence and the trail doesn't continue.Total roundtrip distance: 12 km. Rating: easy. It's 5 km of hiking to the fence, and then and extra 7 km on the way back with a detour at the lighthouse. From the parking lot, follow the 4X4 posts marked white at their top or take the road. When arriving at the hill, you must head up the hill to continue hiking east. After the short summit, the trail is about 1.5 m wide, not marked, but very easily to follow. There are educational signs here and there. Totally worth the 1.3 h drive each way from Saskatoon for a pleasant fall day. Can't comment on the number of mosquitoes present in summer, which I expect there would be plenty.

Very nice salt water lake, great mini golf course, wonderful food at the concession as well. Water was warm and clean! Pyrogy poutine with actual pyrogies in it too! Would definitely come back.

Camp ground was nicely maintained- although our site had a lot of ants. Washrooms were well kept. There was only one person working the check-in area on a long weekend, which seemed a little hectic. Water was nice - but very salty. Definitely shower after going in!
