We had a drainage problem causing flooding in our carport. Vortech offered a very reasonable quote for a solution that did not require installing a completely new perimeter drain. Charles and his crew were amazing! They arrived and got to work pronto. It was wonderful to see how quickly they worked to excavate and prepare the ground for the piping and drain rock. We really appreciated the way Dave removed the many wheelbarrows of fill and deposited it in another area of the property in a neat and tidy manner. Dave and Ernie stayed at the end to rake and level the dirt put back on top of the excavated area and do the final cleanup. This team rocked it all day long and was super pleasant to be around. We highly recommend Charles and his crew at Vortech.

Now that we are both retired and have downsized, we needed the services of a company we can trust to help us renovate our home. Vortech has rebuilt our septic system, perimeter drainage, irrigation and well system as well as upgrading our water system in the house, installing a new water heater and installing fixtures asrequired. From the first time we picked up the phone, Vortech was responsive and professional.They offered to restore an existing septic system on SSI - where all local companies insisted on a total replacement. Two technicians came over with all equipment on the 6.30 am ferry (!), installed risers, replaced distribution box, flushes out lines and restored septic field. They were all done within less than 4 hours and even helped us remove a concrete / brick slab inside the house.Hard-working, professional and reasonably priced.I can only recommend to anyone looking for septic services on Salt Spring Island (and of course in the Duncan area).Thank you!

We purchased a new home that needed inspections and used Vortech for both our septic and well system. The office was quick to respond to all of our emails in getting everything organized. They gave a detailed estimate for the work we needed and set everything up. The workers that arrived seemed efficient and knowledgeable and tidied up before they left. I'm new to living on well and septic, but will definitely be using them again in the future.

Great service and knowledgeable staff, but charges are pretty extravagant. 20 minutes of work will be charged as 2 hours of labour, a base hour for the lead tech, and an hour for the field tech. Seems like consideration/flexibility should be given, especially for small residential servicing.

We had a bad leak in our water line underneath the cement pads in front of our house which caused flooding in our basement. The 2 guys from Vortech (I think his name was Eric and and I'm sorry I cannot remember the other guys name) came and fixed the leak and stopped the flooding in our house! They both were very professional, super friendly, and extremely helpful. They did a great job! I highly recommend Vortech if you have a leak! Thank you for your help!

My senior parents had a leaking 25 year plus faucet that was leaking and needed to be fixed. I read the reviews on Google prior to calling and we were not disappointed. Holly in the office was professional and a gem to deal with. The plumber was on time and pleasant to deal with. The faucet was seized up and while could not be saved ( and believe me he tried) they had a replacement faucet on the truck which was affordable and meant no disruption to my parents. My dad was very happy with the outcome and their prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs.

We can’t speak highly enough of the service received from Vortech this week. The rapid response was highly appreciated for an emergency appraisal when the septic alarm system went off. They organized an immediate septic tank drainage and completed repairs to the system on very short order. From the technician to the office assistant, they were friendly and professional all round.
