This store did have the best prices in the city, but since they have moved and updated the website, prices are the highest in the city. The website has all prices listed in US dollars, but it's not obvious. They try to trick you, with seemingly reasonable prices, then when you go to the store, surprise, they try to rip you off.They are a CDN store, in Calgary with a CDN website, but the prices are in USD. Nice. I'll never shop there again!This store will be out of business with the tricks they are playing, see you later Hobbytech!

Great place for model railroad supplies.Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable.Prices are good and shipping is fast and reasonable.This is my favorite place to shop.(Update to this previous review.)My third order from Hobby Tech and can't say enough good things about this shop.Thanks again Hobby Tech!

Compact showroom is neatly organized and there is an excellent diversity of scales, models, manufacturers and styles represented.If you are going here for the first time, the sign out front is a little faded, so trust the Google Maps location to find it. You will see the store easily once you get parked.Added bonus: large rail hard across the road for viewing prototypes.

Great store with lots of stock including things sold out elsewhere (such as Walthers Mainline 53 foot well car sets). Staff are friendly. In a somewhat out of the way location but we still found the store.

I found this place by accident, and I'm so glad I did.I don't do model railways (... yet), but I do need scenery materials. And this place has a great selection at a great price.I'll so be back as I need more materiel.

Long story short, after all the email exchanges and conversation. The owner made a point they have a lot existing customers and they don’t wish do deal with customer like me. And I’m totally fine with it.If you want to shop here, enjoy and good luck.
