Road 13 Vineyards

Gorgeous tasting room. At $25pp, we thought the tasting was a little overpriced. To be fair, it was a seated tasting that lasted about an hour, so hard to compare with a shorter stand-up tasting. Also, we were offered some pretty expensive wines to taste, so that was a plus. Given that we were paying a fairly hefty price for the tasting, I thought the host pushed their wine club on us a little bit, although we did sign up for the wine club as it seems like good value. I’ve always liked Road 13’s wines, although like the tasting, I find them a bit overpriced. I would go back and relax and enjoy the view, and maybe get some light food and wine by the glass next time, instead of getting the tasting experience.

We stopped at Road 13 on our way into Osoyoos for a week's vacation. Having sampled their wines at home before, we couldn't pass the opportunity to take a closer look. We weren't disappointed.The location is spectacular, set on the west side of Oliver, high up the hill and with a spectacular view of the valley below. The facility is gorgeous, clean, and very welcoming.Even without reservations we were still kindly greeted and welcomed in for a late-afternoon tasting of a variety of their world-class offerings.While the wines were delightful, what made this more of an experience was the chance to meet both, Elizabeth and Dan, who were friendly, gracious, and genuine. Their conversation was such a friendly welcome to the beginning of our vacation and they are both true ambassadors for Road 13 and the Oliver/Osoyoos communities.We paired the wine tasting with the most delicious charcuterie plate ever and this sealed the deal on our experience as a 5-star home run.If you haven't been here, you need to go. Great atmosphere, wine was amazing, the charcuterie board was so delicious. The view was beautiful, you could spend a couple hours just relaxing here. Had to get a few bottles to take home with us. Service was friendly, and quick. Would definitely go back when we are back in town.

Road 13 is a must stop and by far one of our favourite wineries. The atmosphere is very welcoming, gives a homey feel, and the service is always exceptional. Every time we have gone we feel great and Road 13 is our go to wine. My boyfriend and I are Club 13 members which is phenomenal. I would recommend this winery to everyone, they do not have a wine that won't be what you want. The wine maker is exceptional and hand-picks grapes. If you are around this is a MUST stop!!!

Beautiful facilities. Noted a gradual yet significant change since Mark Anthony acquired in terms of attitude, which is to take itself much more serious - unfortunate but to be expected after an acquisition.Seated tastings only which seems to be the trend, unfortunately. Was looking forward to tasting 2020 John Oliver reds which are supposed to be great (Syrah in particular) but none were on the “experience” we went with.That said, had the beautiful patio overlooking the valley to ourselves and the 2019 GSM is great.

Highly recommend this winery! Road 13's expansive views and delicious wines are definitely something to write home about, but what sealed the deal was our wine educator's knowledge and above-and-beyond attitude. Jenna was friendly and welcoming from the start and her interest in the industry is evident. She shared product and vineyard information enthusiastically and thoughtfully and made us feel confident in our experience there. Thank you!

Oh boy. Where do I start? Excellent staff who were very knowledgeable and provided a great service. The tasting room is gorgeous with beautiful views. They also have a nice castle they host wine tasting when it gets busier. I heard they might be taking down the castle at some point so it'll be good for those who are interested to visit soon.The best part is really the wine. The red wine offered here were the most delicious ones out of probably a dozen wineries I tried in Osoyoos. Their John Oliver collection is absolutely delicious! Definitely a must visit if you are in town.

Really great experience here. We booked a tasting here and it ended up being a private thing in their member's lounge. We had great service from a very friendly and knowledgeable staff member. They have a great history and are expanding their wine list into the Similkameen valley. We had a great time and would recommend this winery.

Queen Dianne was the best! Really enjoyed the wines and the great tour. I love the castle as well. Excited to come back
