Kemptville Retirement Living

My son has been working at Kemptville Retirement Living for the past year. All the staff are truly devoted in providing excellent care to all the residents. If I could give this place a -1 star I would. Residents are amazing and wonderful! Service team members are amazing with the residents, they work hard for what they do but management is the complete opposite. They don’t appreciate what’s done in the home, nursing team brushes off medical problems with residents until it’s too late. Management doesn’t care about their employees, they underpaid them, they attack service team members for the simplest things including; spending time with residents, attacking employees in front of residents instead of pulling them to the side and having a conversation with them. Getting mad at employees for going on sick leave, firing them on voicemail; while they proceed to talk ill of them to another coworker. Taking over 2 and a half months to send an employees ROE in after they fired them. They go through staff like they change their underwear, it’s sad to see such a “beautiful” home with wonderful residents in it go down.

I have had the privledge of touring Kemptville Retirement Living. The staff there are caring and knowledgeable. The building is beautiful and immaculate. The extra touches such as the seating areas, courtyard, chess table and the activities they offer are over the top. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for my grandparents. So glad you are in the community

I have worked at Kemptville Retirement living for the past 11 months. The managers and staff are extremely caring and devoted towards all the residents. They strive to provide the best quality of care for senior living. I would highly recommend this retirement home!

I visited over 6 different facilities as I looked to move my parents into Assisted Living. It was obvious that the Kemptville Retirement Living far exceeded the others. The natural light, decor and layout are wonderful. The flexibility and support I have received throughout the process has been great. The interaction between the staff and residents appears genuine. Move in date is fast approaching and we are looking forward to my folks getting acclimated into their new home. There are so many options for things to do, people to meet and services to support them. We are looking forward to this next phase of their lives in a wonderful environment! Thanks to Phillip and Carrie for making this a smooth transition.

Kemptville Retirement Living is a great place to work, The staff and management are great. They go out of there way to make sure the residents are well taken care of and have fun. I look forward to going to work everyday and seeing all the smiling faces of the residents and staff. I hope to have many more years working there. I just love it. ❤️

Kemptville retirement living has been a wonderful experience so far with my Mom. She moved in this week after the recent loss of my father and the staff and people are wonderful. Highly recommend this wonderful environment for your cherished family member.

I have worked for KVRL for almost 3 years and I enjoy my job. The staff I work with are always fun yet professional. My manager, Laura, is amazing and goes above and beyond for all of us and the residents. Great group of people at KVRL.

The people who work here are the best. They are happy, cheerful , caring and encouraging to both the residents and their families.I cannot say enough good things about how the residents are treated. The staff knows every one by name and always greets residents and families with a smile. We no longer have to worry about our parents, we know they are in good hands!

I brought my grandmother here to hopefully live. We got the tour, paid her deposit, and our hopes were high.We filled out all of the necessary paper work required from current home and her doctor.She had great references and her TB X-ray was negative.All my grandmother required was medication administration, purée food, and oxygen which the facility stated they can, and provide this with the facilities current clients.All of her conditions we spoken about before we gave them the deposit.The part owner approved her application, and somebody else refused it.I think it was mental health discrimination to be honest. They refused her with no explanation.I then brought all of the paper work to 3 different retirement homes within 50km and all of the director of cares said there is no reason that they would refuse her.If you decide to give me an explanation you know my number.
