I came to Monique with a complex list of requests for my wedding dress alterations. I needed it taken in, train shortened, back raised to cover my bra, beading and a bustle. I was worried that my requests were impossible, but Monique stepped up to the challenge and brought my vision to life. She exceeded my expectations and I was SO HAPPY with how it turned out! Kind, efficient, professional, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend working with Monique for your alteration needs!

I came to Monique with a big task of altering my gown about 3-4 sizes down. Can I just say I am over the moon about the results! Even with lace on the bodice she still managed to make it look seamless. Not only was the work excellent, but also she was polite, quick and very reasonable with pricing. I couldn't recommend her more!

Monique altered a dress for me for my daughter’s wedding.She did a beautiful job. I was so happy with the end result.She also fixed a purse that was torn in 2 places. When I got it back I could not see evidence of the rip. I was so happy because I thought it might be beyond repair until I thought of Monique.I highly recommend her services.

I had my wedding dress alterations done in Halifax where I purchased my dress. Long story short, my dress was too tight AND I was charged $600 for alterations. I was devastated! I found Monique and oh my gosh she was so amazing. Not only in her work but just a great human being overall. Very flexible, easy going, etc. She fixed my dress and she even offered to do it for free because she felt bad for me. I couldn’t believe her kindness. She is a doll and I couldn’t recommend her more!

My daughter and I went to Monique’s Sew Unique to have my daughter’s prom dress altered. Her dress was a wedding dress with a train and we had it shortened and the train removed. Monique did an awesome job on the dress and her rates were reasonable. The final product was beautiful and my daughter loved it.
