My 13 year old was at Nike Basketball camp in London, Ontario. He was in the 1/2 day camp. He came home tired everyday and told us about the skills he learned. He's been on his school basketball team for 2 years in a row and gained some valuable tips at camp that he's hoping will earn him a spot on the high school team next year. He loved it so much that he has asked to attend this summer. He's attended other camps and has never asked to return so it was a great experience for him. He said the coaches were tough but wanted himto come away having bettered his skills. We would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to improve!

My kids had so much fun at this camp. They did not want to leave. They have improved a lot. The coaches were very kind and kept the smiles on their faces the whole time.

Volleyball March Break Camp at Woodbridge Sportsdome - for the price you're paying, I'm disappointed. These are the reasons: 1) break and lunch times were too long, 30 minutes and 1.5hrs for lunch 2) not enough drills 3) too much free time 4) kids were supposed to be categorized by skill levels, however it looks like they were grouped moreso by age 5) advertised shirt and prizes, however the only prize" were sweat wristbands given to all 6) instructors were moreso babysitting instead of providing directions 7) kids from the soccer camp kept coming and playing on the volleyball court and at times bothering the volleyball kids. Reasons why I gave 2 stars and not 1: 1) facility was nice despite horrible parking 2) 2/3 of the instructors were nice. Overall better than community center camps

I took winter tennis lessons with SCC. The instructors were great; the facilities were good. Overall a very good experience, although these lessons cost more than I'm used to paying - at these lessons didn't fill up 10 seconds after being posted.

Summer soccer camp 2022 (Mississauga):1. The camp itself was ok and the coach was very good (kind, skilled, managed the kids well) with the kids for the soccer portion, but I was not entirely comfortable that the mississauga location is fairly open to public. There are young children in the program and if a child goes to the bathroom on their own or to the room where their lunch/ personal items are located the building is not secure enough in my opinion. Also to mention that the area where kids sit and have lunch looks like a storage room for equipment.2. There are freebies given through the week. These should be given to all kids and they aren’t. This piece seems a bit disorganized/strange.3. There were not enough shirts (which are paid for through the program cost) for all the kids so my child ended up with a huge adult shirt which she couldn’t wear. Each day of the camp the coach said the owner/admin was supposed to bring more shirts and they never did. I reached out to them by email who said they would send us one in the mail along with other items to make up for not providing a shirt during the camp week and we never received it. I’ve followed up and received no response.I had high expectations and was really excited for this camp based on its claim to Nike affiliation. The website makes it appear to be a strong soccer training program. Overall the soccer camp itself was ok. Not organized that well for what I would expect from a “Nike” program and not a program or camp that we will register in again. It really seemed like the camp itself was an afterthought. And this is no fault of the coach who really seemed like he wanted to provide a good experience for the kids. It really appeared to be due to lack of organization/ planning from the sports camp program itself. My daughter had fun, but generally most kids will make friends and fun wherever they go.There were 3 girls registered that week and my daughter really had fun with them.

My son just finished one of the worst camp experiences he has been involved in. For a camp run by Nike as a Parent I am highly disappointed and wasted my hard earned money this week. Here were some of the issues;first day they were very unorganized. 2 coaches for 40 kids. My son said the older kids didn’t allow the younger kids to play. The washroom facilities were of a third world country. No running water, no toilet paper. One stall for over 40 kids. Unbelievable.Promised a special guest for the kids all week and no one showed up.Not enough gift packages for all kids. Some kids got Towels, footballs, pumps. My son got a headband and water bottle because there was not enough for all kids. Really?Nike should be embarrassed by what transpired this week. I will not be doing this or telling any friends or family to sign up for any future camps run by Nike. Nike needs to do better for kids when running camps.

Had a ton of fun participating in the Winter 2023 session for tennis. Coach Anne was great – really approachable, knowledgeable, and motivating – and Zach was super welcoming and helpful (throughout the registration process, but also during the lessons). Great opportunity to join a small group of folks and learn the foundations of tennis (I took the beginner class)!

Great experience for our grandsons, 11 and 12 years old, who hadn’t played organized basketball outside of the playground version. They learned a lot about the rules and skills needed in the sport. The only problem we saw was something which is not easily solved, that being the ability gap and unequal sizes of players in the 7 to12 year old group. Shak of Shak’s World in Barrie did an admirable job in dealing with these issues though. She was very professional and calm in what must have a very challenging environment, achieving a delicate balance of instruction and personality conflict resolution. Our grandsons enjoyed their first foray into organized sports so much, they asked to join the upcoming house league. It was a very enjoyable experience, one they will definitely be asking to repeat in the future. We also appreciated seeing them active for a change, away from electronics. The fact they want to repeat it again is encouraging and largely due to Shak’s efforts.

My friends and I loved this tennis camp so much. Leo was a great coach and always kept us moving and learning. Highly recommend!
