Wow! We were pleasantly surprised with the eatery. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were decent. The kitchen was a bit backed up but they communicated this to us when we ordered and checked in with us periodically. Kids menu was very fair priced as well. Definitely will be stopping in again on our next road trip!

Got the 8oz steak with mushrooms and prawns. Beautifully done. The service was great. The ladies were very attentive and sweet (one even gave a guest in our dining group a cigarette he was ‘in need of’). It’s definitely worth the stop!

The menu looks fantastic. I've been here once now, tried the Jalepeno chicken sandwich. Very generous portion of panko crusted chicken, nice fresh arugula. I did note some jalapeño flavor, but it was very subtle.Went there on a Monday, just at the tail end of the dinner crowd. One server and one hostess/busser was leaving our server a bit stretched thin, but she did her best to handle many tables alone. The hostess and I chatted and it sounds like she will move up to serving tables which will be helpful for the business.I appreciate that my server hustled but I'd like it if she didn't have to. I get that we are just starting back to business with the ridiculous restrictions the out of touch government imposed on the restaurant industry. Several restaurants I have been to this week are trying to guage the business flow. I understand.I'd like to see at least two servers for a dinner rush there. Even on a Monday.I tried to order the Salmon Rizotto, it was sold out. I selected the pork chop next, that was sold out as well, so I opted for the chicken sandwich. Its a Monday, and business flow is still being assessed. I get it. I do want to try those menu items though. I do hope that 86ing menu items won't be a regular occurrence. I'll be back often to go over the majority of the menu.4 out of 5 stars (at the time of writing this) is due to the restroom not being in the best shape and the two menu items not available.I will revise this review after a couple more visits to properly reflect my experiences then.I am very happy to see a menu of this caliber in 100mile. The town needs it.Prices are a bit lower than I would expect. That is quite nice. I'd expect a rise in menu cost going forward, and I'd hope that the locals understand the value they are getting here.I'd be hard pressed to think of anywhere better to go to eat than here. That being said, I have yet to try out the Farrier pub which is connected to this business and has great reviews. I like it here because it isn't pub food. I'd call it casual upscale dining.Second visit update - came in for lunch, only a couple tables here on a Tuesday afternoon. Tried the Salmon Rizotto today. I was a little surprised to see splashes of sauce on the rim of the bowl when served this dish. Also the bowl was cracked. Roasted beets had a bit too much seasoning, black olives brought more salt to the dish, very nice roasted zucchini, and carrots. The dish just had a bit too much salt to it, which takes from the delicate flavor of the dish.I am very happy to see each component was seasoned, it just had a bit too much salt going on. I gave my feedback to my server. Its just constructive critique, not saying don't try the Rizotto, you should!. I hope my feedback can help dial this dish in to where it needs to be.Looking forward to my next visit. I plan to try the Pork Chop next.THIRD VISITComing in for lunch, ordered a Heineken. It is Mid May, got a festive Christmas edition bottle. Hmm, I guess they don't sell very much Heineken here. 5 month old stock.Ordered the pork chop finally.. but four other menu items aren't available. This is definitely a trend.Pork chop arrived. Presentation looks nice. Mashed potato were chunky, tastes were a little off, not sure if its me or the pork. Nothing alarming though.Overall impressions has me thinking I probably won't be back unless a&w is closed for some reason. I feel like the concept was biting off more than the kitchen could chew.It needs a little more attention to detail.UPDATE June 18Came back again for another try.Ordered the Lamb Burger. Gotta say I was not sure if this would be the nail in the coffin for me coming to the Eatery.Bob Marley Redemption Song is in my head. This Lamb burger was seriously on point. Everything about it was perfect. Awesome flavor. The cumin spice was so enjoyable.Great service, great hostess, no menu items unavailable.Ill be back again. Redemption!!

We found this gem of an eatery randomly when our fav Chinese place was closed due to a propane issue. The steak bites were so freakin good! They outstaged the Eatery Burger, and IT was delicious too! Great staff as well. The Eatery by Farrier Pub is now our new fav place to eat when in 100 Mile!

Just as good as Farrier! We really enjoyed our meals and the new location is well-suited for them. Really appreciated seeing some awesome, thought out vegan options on the menu. I had the Buddha Bowl and it was so good and filling. Also, they have the best fries in BC, hands down.

Haven't been here in a few years since covid but had an amazing meal and can't wait to go back. The menu had changed and had some easy items that quite honestly were done amazing. Being from out of town, having such a well cooked meal was unexpected. The staff were great, the atmosphere was very easy and ordering was a breeze. The chicken parm was a classic and cooked so perfectly, they actually have a real cook who knows their stuff! The won ton bowl appetizer was very creative, not my favorite but very interesting and would recommend for people to try. The Jambalaya was amazing too and the flavours were on point. I cant recommend this place enough and can't wait to be back!!

Food... 5 starsBeautiful atmosphere, clean, good location and ample room. Our server was nice, but not so attentive.2 other younger servers were quite chilly and sad. Smile a bit! Engage with the public, this is an important part of your job.We will most definitely return here, the food was on point so kudos to the chef!Ms. FancyGoogle ReviewOver 5 million + picture views

Passing by 100 Mile House last year, we decided to do a pit stop and had dinner at the Eatery. The atmosphere is definitely very cottage in the deep woods vibe. As soon as you go in, there’s a bar to the left and a big fireplace and step up platform with more seating in the front. There’s also a second dining room and a big patio outside. We decided to order one appetizer and a few mains to share. The arancini was everything you’d expect, crispy bread crumb exterior, with soft risotto on the inside. The marinara sauce and cream cheese really adds a depth of flavour. For our mains we shared the salmon papillote, the braised short rib and Buddha bowl. Surprisingly the Buddha bowl was very flavourful with the peanut sauce and the entire bowl was a big salad. The beef short rib was tender and melt in your mouth, really well executed. The salmon paillote was cooked well but not over cooked. The only thing I was a bit unsure were the roasted beets. Appearance-wise it was a bit daunting, but once you eat it, it’s a familiar earthy flavour.Overall food was great. The service was a bit spotty, but there were a number of tables and only 1-2 staff on the floor, with the owner behind the bar. After chatting with the owner, he revealed he used to work at Steamworks brew pub near Waterfront station in Vancouver.A great little place to stop by for a meal, will definitely go back next time we go through town again.

First let me start by stating that I have dined here in the past while in town. I had good memories of this place and was happy to try it again. Unfortunately this time around the food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the “mussels and meat”… no joke they forgot to add the meat, not to mention the broth was incredibly salty, also I wasn’t a fan of staff serving us and then sitting down at the adjacent table and scrolling on there phones occasionally getting up and checking on my table. I get it, it’s a small town and I was there on a Monday night, not exactly a busy time of year, just didn't care for the overall experience, won’t be going back

Just ate here this evening. Only coming through for a day of work tomorrow, then onto the next place. I got the Eatery burger, and it was absolutely top notch. Super tasty and honestly a pretty good sized burger. I was worried it being more upscale" it would be small
