Terrible experience at the YYZ airport branch. The manager Mr Sourav is very rude. Would never rent again with hertz. Also after reading so many reviews all I can see most of the people complaining about your manager and same experience even I had with him But even after so many bad reviews about him Hertz as a co. has still hired him really Lol.Look for other rent companies don’t waste your time dealing with hertz they are running terrible business with a Terrible Manager who has no respects for his clients.

DO NOT RENT FROM HEREI had a Tesla Model 3 pre-booked and paid for. When I reached this location I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. I didn’t cancel it, and nobody seems to know who did or why they did. They allowed me to rebook but charged me almost double the price I had originally paid, and outright refused to honour the original price, despite this being their screw up. I believe that’s called scamming people, which is illegal.Then we get onto the security deposit, it is advertised clearly on their website and in their terms and conditions, a LEGAL document, that the maximum security deposit is $200. However this location were insistent on a $350 deposit. I couldn’t afford that, so the rental ended up not happening.Hertz still have not refunded me for the cancelled reservation. I tried to reach them, and they are now ghosting me, refusing to even acknowledge me.Do not go here, they will scam you, steal money from you, and they breach their own legal documents. This company should be shut down.

I am a Presidents Circle member and had a horrible experience recently for my business trip with Hertz at this location. I arrived at the time that my rental was booked (7PM) and right from the get go the customer rep at the counter was very rude, no greetings and my vehicle was not ready and i had to wait 30 minutes for them to bring the vehicle (i had reserved a electric car category). I reached out to the manager (left vmail and email) and heard back 1 day later via email from the General Manager (Jaron Pais) and basically got no apology about the rude customer service and the delay reason was blamed on some generic thing about extreme weather (even though the day of pickup the weather was really nice). My return experience was equally horrible (very rude customer service overall and no basic greeting).

Customer service was not as it was expected. None of the premium cars or similar as advertised which we booked and paid for a couple of months ago was available and we've been forced to upgrade to what they called a luxury" vehicle at our own expense! the clerk doesn't want to consider even a small amount of discount and instead is offering to take a regular vehicle at the same price!"

Customer service was great! The only comment would be as I was not informed how the gas refill program works, so I paid more than $60 to 'fill' up a gas tank that was only half full. Next time i'll do as I have done at previouls car rentals, bring it back as I rented the car.That said the car, the service was great!

We had a great experience at there 3 weeks ago. The staffs were friendly and helpful. It was almost midnight so no many cars for choosing but the front desk lady managed to find our preferred car. The process was quick and smooth. Thanks Hertz YYZ!

Most rude staff. They didn't even care to explain anything about the car. The lady at the exit was kind of psycho and acting like a Karen. Without checking the mileage of the car she just handed over the paper and said go. I showed her that you didn't check the mileage. She got so rude and crazy and pathetic. The worst anyone can imagine. And the whole staff was standing there and laughing. I asked the lady name she proudly said loud SARAH. She was acting like she's the owner of the company and she doesn't care. Overly make up and old lady acting like CEO of the company. Ruined our trip to Toronto. And we had to wait for the car for 45 minutes even though we booked it online paid 700 dollars right away. No shame

Horrible customer service. We booked a Tesla the day before we were supposed to pick it. We had to wait for 25 minutes to bring the car from the garage. Then they told us that it’s not ready and that we had to wait for another half an hour for it to be charged. When we asked to speak to a manager, he showed up after ten minutes saying I can’t apologize until I know your names and in a sarcastic manner he asked us to smile. No respect to clients time or any inconvenience this have caused us. We were one hour late for our meeting because Hertz horrible customer service.

STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!If you want to be valued as a customer then hertz is not the place for you. This business is the BIGGEST SCAM I know. All of the employees lie to you but when you ask their manager (who is right beside them) to repeat what they said. They lie and tell a different story. Even the manager Dominick was rude! Luckily, it is my first and last time here. I spent a lot of money for a 2 week rental, but hiden fees are everywhere! Decided to go with enterprise and not only is everything better but it is also cheaper!

We'd originally reserved a car with #Alamo @Toronto Pearson airport. Due to extremely unprofessional conduct of #alamo staff (reported to #alamo) our reservation was cancelled. We walked over to #Hertz @ 11 pm and were greeted by 2 very professional, friendly, women who worked their magic to find us a car. They also gave us a military discount (hubby is retired military). Upon returning our car, the gentleman who we handed the car over to, was also extremely professional and very friendly! The whole process was very quick & easy. The car was clean and fun to drive. Thank you, Hertz! 5 stars! Highly recommended!
