Olympic Martial Arts

While Little Dragons martial arts classes may be appropriate for some young children, I believe that starting at age 4 might be too young. Based on my experience, if your child is not a particularly fast learner or not very coordinated, this might not be the best place for them to learn those skills. The classes tend to be quite large (12+ students age 4-6), and the teacher does not have enough time to give individual attention to each child. In my case, my 4-year-old son attended his first class with strict rules, and unfortunately, the teacher did not seem to have much patience with him.Overall, I would recommend that parents carefully consider their child's personality and needs before enrolling them in Little Dragons classes, especially if they are under 5 years old. While the classes may work well for some children, others might need more personalized attention and support that may not be possible in this setting.

Our son, 7 at the time, struggled with focus and listening to instruction. We signed him up for lessons here and he really enjoyed it. The sensei is fantastic. He really cares about helping the kids grow. I’d highly recommend this place.

The workouts and lessons learned during classes are invaluable! For adults and children alike.

I regret every minute of exposing my son to this place. The place smells like cigarettes. The teacher does not know how to deal with children, he teaches exclusion not discipline, he is not a leader, just an old man who bullies children. I'm mad at myself for putting my son through this. I'm a purple belt in Jiu Jitsu, and a black belt in Taekwondo and I've never seen that in my life. We love martial arts, but today my 4 year old son said he doesn't want to fight anymore because of an old man that yelled at him and grounded him in a secluded corner because he couldn't do certain moves. Anyway, research better before putting your children through a traumatizing experience.

Nice environment, clean and organize.

The sensei is amazing, he teaches the students about perseverance, respect discipline and more, everything through this sport. I really recommend this school.

Al is a very good instructor. All ages and abilities are welcome. Friendly atmosphere. A hidden jewel worth exploring when you are interested in fitness or martial arts

My son wants to drop controllers to go here every time his class is in session. That says enough, but the change is incredible and he is still on his first belt. High energy, focus, self defence and fun.
