I got married at Cox Creek Cellars this summer and I can’t imagine my wedding anywhere else. It was such a beautiful and magical place to get married! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. We had our ceremony in the apple orchard and it was stunning. The staff were so welcoming and helpful and did all they could to make our special day just right. The location for our reception was perfect. We had tents set up in a cozy field framed with evergreen trees. There was enough space to set out yard games during cocktail hour, and we brought in a propane fireplace for guests to enjoy throughout the evening (there was the option to use Cox Creek wood fire pits, but we didn’t want to smoke or maintenance). We decorated everything in lights, so at night, the tents and trees lit up and it was pure magic. Everyone also loved trying the assortment of grape and fruit wines from the winery, and the ciders were a hit! It was honestly the perfect location as well, as our guests only had to drive a few minutes outside the city to get there. I’d recommend this venue to anyone getting married. Thank you!

Stopped in just for a few cans of cider, but couldn’t not get a tasting while we were there. Really lovely selection of wines, and wonderful service and location.Also pet friendly!Can’t wait to come back and enjoy their outdoor area when the weather is a bit warmer!

The white wines were great. The iced wine (kind of mulled wine that tastes like apple pie) was really good too. It made me crave vanilla ice cream!!! The view is beautiful and they are planning to also sell charcuterie boards. It seems like a nice place to hang out or a nice romantic beginning of weekend.

A real winery with scenic views just outside of guelph, impressive with great ambiance. Less of property and Apple orchards and walking paths! Diane provided top notch service!

My wife and I sat inside for a shared wine tasting yesterday. The indoor tasting areas (second and third floors) were a disappointment. In their defence, they may still be under construction. I expected to emerge into a comfortable living room but the tables and chairs were cafeteria style. It was very echoey with nothing on the walls. As for the wines, two of the eight were fine (the cuvee and the cab). The easiest thing to address from a business perspective though, was that when we were done, no one asked us how we enjoyed the wine. Were there any that we would like to buy, take home? Did we have any feedback? For a new business you would think they'd be looking for this information. They just swiped my credit card and and we were on our way. Odd.

We had a great tasting experience here! Very reasonably priced, and the fruit wines are seriously impressive. The oak barrel aged black currant was our favourite. A tiny bit sweeter than grape wines, but still plenty tart. They offer a good variety of other local goods too (cheeses, artisan cutting boards), and the grounds are beautiful. We will definitely be back. Thank you! ❤️

Great wines and ciders . Heather was a fantastic host. Beautiful property. Would give another star if there was more selection of nibblies to go with the wine. Hopefully in the future. Cheers

We came for a wine tasting last weekend and it was amazing. We were so impressed to have a winery around the corner with such great quality options. Why would anyone in this area buy wine at the LCBO when we have this hidden gem so close? We can't believe we drove by this place so many times without going in.The drive up the laneway was lovely and the fire pit area was so cool. We snagged the last remaining fire pit and after our tasting, we ordered a couple glasses. Our 2 favs were the Merlot and the black current cider. We got some great pics and chatted with the staff who were super welcoming and attentive.Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or relaxing afternoon.

The 5 starts here is primarily for the service we received from Dianne! They were so fun, gave us a free round in the spirit of St paddy’s day and just made us feel so welcome! All of the staff were very passionate about the wine and the story behind the business. I will definitely be going back to support this local business.
