I have changed my review to reflect my dozens of visits to the store. The customer service is outstanding and the selection is great. They can order what isnt in stock and are very knowledgeable about their products.I'm taking 1 star away for the mishap below, they know kniw how to update online for closures...Closed early (noon) the Saturday before Mother's Day without a post on their website. Unacceptable. They had a sign in their window. I have been a loyal customer, so don't allow me drive across the city for nothing please. I felt terrible for another customer who had driven there from Woodstock!I was there earlier in the week and there was no mention of this early closure to customers. I have no idea if the sign was up. Another customer had to point it out to me, as I walked away as soon as I found the door locked.I love the products they carry and their customer service, when they are open. I'm so disappointed to give this review because I used to feel it was worth driving there. However, if I can't trust them to be open.

i have purchased several things at this location. on one such visit a bought a commercial coated muffin tin. after one use and hand washing it, 2 of the muffin cups were pitted. i returned to the store with great difficulty, construction and blocked streets, with the muffin tin hoping i could just exchange it. first they wouldn't take it back because i had used it. so i had to explain that if it was unused it wouldn't be defective, and then they said because i didn't have my receipt there was noting they would do i was then told to contact the manufacturer on my own. other than 2 staff i was the only person in the store, with customer service like this it explains a lot

Great store. Friendly staff. Good prices. If you need professional cooking gear they probably have what you need in stock. While you are there look around they probably have something else you could use. It's not your chain store kitchen outlet but still they have a lot of useful items of professional quality. I think a lot of London's professional cooks shop here. Lots of parking/

I browsed, and browsed and browsed. I felt like a kid in a candy shop really. So many items to see, choose from, etc. So much of the equipment reminded me of my restaurant days. I loved being in the kitchen. I'm not a chef but I did cook. Loved it all. This place brought back a lot of those cool memories. I just wish I had a bigger kitchen!Staff was pleasant....a newer gal chatted with me and made some good convo. I'll be back.

Charged my credit card $200 deposit for repairs. Then no contact for days on when the repair is going to happen. Tried to ask the lady who works on Saturday. She stated she didn't know, didn't care and hung up. I feel almost scammed! I just need my equipment fixed and a date so I know when to scheduled staff and potential have the restaurant shut down for the repairs. RUDE STAFF MEMBER AND NO HELP! I think she needs some costumer service training

Have wanted to come here for years. Was not disappointed! Found lots of quality kitchen tools at great prices. If you like to cook it's a must stop and visit. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

I dropped my sandwich toaster machine for diagnosing/repair about two weeks ago. Checked after 4-5 days and was told repair cost/labour around $500. I gave them to go ahead . After another one week , called to check status. I was told that two more parts have been ordered & now it will cost u over $1000. I asked as why have not been called & got approved. She has no answer except apologies. It took three weeks with zero end resultsI told her , I just need my machine back & don’t want any repair.I will never go to them again, rather I will get it done someway elsePathetic experience

The staff is greatly helpful, and they have a wide selection of products. My only gripe is that they add an additional surcharge on any purchase.

Disappointing customer service! Considering this store sells largely to people in the hospitality industry you think customer retention and satisfaction would be at the top of their priorities.Refusing to exchange or return unused items that are still currently for sale in the show room mixed with a bad attitude sales assistant is a recipe for unhappy customers.

Who ever works at the service desk needs to understand it should not take over 2 weeks for a response. I have left countless messages and never get a call back. I have also been charged for the work but the work was never finished! I guess next step is a lawyer. Though I'd rather have my equipment fixed. I hope another industrial resturaunt repair and parts facility opens so that the monopoly these guys have in London ends. Or hopefully the owner sees reviews and trains the staff properly.
