Shift Air BC

Called Shift Air Mechanical December 26 due to our furnace fan not working and to our surprise our call was answered. Melissa told us Kathy would get back to us December 27 to arrange a service call. Kathy calls us December 27 and tells us Brent will come that day.Brent arrives later that day and is able to get the fan working much to our relief; he was professional and pleasant.We are so appreciative of how Shift Air handled our problem. It needs to be noted that we live approx 100 km from their office and it is Christmas. We will not hesitate to recommend Shift Air. Thanks to everyone at Shift.

A new Central AC unit was installed in our vacation home by Shift Air 1.5 months ago and the technicians had done a great job in half of a day. After the AC installation, we left till the returning last night. During the midnight, we found the furnace fan was nonstop running for all fan modes but could not figure out the reason. In the early morning, we sent a request to Shift Air and got a quick response in minutes. Shift Air informed us an technician will be sent to check the fan issue at the same day. Just after the lunch time, the technician came to fix the problem in 5 minutes. Awesome! We are so happy to get the excellent service from Shift Air.

We are very happy with our installation from Shift Air. Brent and Kathy were both very responsive and knowledgeable. Our heat pump was installed on time and on budget. We would highly recommend Shift Air and they will be our first call on any future work.

Kathy was absolutely amazing to deal with from start to finish. She was very attentive and helped us with all our questions and concerns. The actual unit took longer than expected to arrive but she was wonderful in her communication with us throughout the whole process. Highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat!

I had an issue with my furnace and it stopped working. Brent diagnosed it quickly and when the part came in he had no issue installing/repairing it on Saturday. Great service!!

I've used Shift Air BC for my heating and air conditioning. I am in a small village where it's hard to get service. Shift replaced my old, malfunctioning heating and AC unit this past summer and I was very happy with the friendly, knowledgeable service. They were able to get the unit I needed from Calgary and got it installed quickly. The office staff (Kathy!) is efficient and always answers immediately when I've had to message. I had a follow up appointment when I was having troubles with the new thermostat and again had great service. Most recently, my thermostat was acting up (again) and I messaged Shift on New Years' Eve. I was surprised to get a response right away, letting me know what the likely problem was, asking a few questions, and letting me know that they would come to do the warranty work right after the new year (I still had heat!). Brent came out, on an evening, and replaced the thermostat and all is well. Very happy with the service from Shift Air BC.

Decided to purchase a mini-split heat pump unit for our heritage home. Called Shift Air in January. Got a call back from Kathy either the same or next day, and within a day or so after that Brent came to the house for an estimate. They provided a written estimate within another day or so, with a discussion around availabilities for a March install. Also made some recommendations around availability for grants and rebates. Around the end of Feb, we got another email confirming the March install date. Date came, the crew of 3 were here first thing, along with an electrician (invoiced separately) that they secured. Install took about a day and 1/2 (1 outdoor and 2 indoor units) Great work was completed on-time and on estimate; crew tested the system and did a good job cleaning up when they were done. Pretty rare to find trades that are that dependable and professional. Highly recommend for anyone looking in the Columbia Valley for this type of work! Thanks

I called ShiftAir and was delighted that an actual person answered the phone! Kathy was very helpful and efficient with the details. It was a very busy day for Brent but she said they would do their best to get to me that day if possible.Brent arrived a few hours later, had the issue fixed in no time! Brent was helpful and informative. Great service, friendly and efficient.

Brent is Brilliant. I gave him what I thought was an impossible task, to provide AC in my 3 geodesic Dome tents. Not a standard install and yet he and his team did it. I have no doubt they excel at typical installations but if you have a tricky situation, do not waste time calling anyone else - Shift Air is who you need.
