Tried out Vivid Vans based on their google reviews.I had vivid vans perform some mechanical work. Once I got the van back I discovered several issues with the work done. Simple things that any mechanic who works on Vanagons professionally would not have overlooked. When these issues were brought up with the owner my calls and emails were ignored.I would not recommend this shop... beware.

These guys are the best. They’ve dug me out of a few good holes more than once and got me on my way again no problem. I strongly recommend them for all of your vanagon needs!! Great crew and great work!!

I called the guys at Vivid Vans in a desperate situation as our old 1972 air-cooled bus broke down while on a road trip. We couldn't find anyone looking at it within a few days. Everyone seemed to be booked out for weeks and sometimes even months. The people at Vivid Vans are more specialized in Vanagons and couldn't look at our bus either. They were however tremendously helpful in finding another shop that can take care of our vehicle. They gave me a list with a bunch of places to call. Very helpful and super friendly! thanks and if I ever own a Vanagon I know where to go for service.

Nathan and the guys at Vivid Vans are amazing and we couldn't be happier that we found them. They kept us in the loop and explained what was going on through the entire repair process. They do great work and we understand our vehicle more because of them! Hands down, the best mechanics I've ever worked with!

Vivid Vans did a complete Subaru 2008 Forester conversion on my 90 Westy along with bigger brakes, wheels and tires and rebuilt transmission. I have been driving the van since the spring and am extremely happy with the conversion performance. I wave to other cars with my right hand going over the Malahat now instead of my left hand ( :We are off to the Rockies in Sept if the smoke clears.Thanks a bunch to the crew at Vivid Vans for bringing new life to my VW!
