Harbour View Inn

Lovely! It was clean and very nicely decorated to suit the Victorian house. I loved it was a nice difference to the Hotel experience. Definitely an INN experience. I found the quirks of it being an old structure added to its ambiance. The staff were professional and hospitable. All in all a wonderful stay!

Stayed a while ago.Best part is the walkability to downtown. Rooms are dated and need a good cleaning.

Fantastic location- 5min walk to downtown (restaurants, shopping, lake). Friendly and helpful staff made great recommendations for local attractions. Beautiful hotel suite- the decor is tasteful and talk about the great lake views! We came here for a quick getaway through the week this past summer, and stayed in the Penthouse Suite- WOW. Just beautiful. Will definately be back.

Cute place and like the kitchenette; however, when walking in my friend checked us in under her reservation with her name and the clerk (Sarah) that helped us was dismissive of her and only regarded me (only eye contact with me, only motioning for me to follow, only talking to me) when giving instructions about the place and restaurant ideas, etc. Even at the end of the tour to upstairs she only handed me room keys and it was very uncomfortable. This experience felt like a racist micro aggression towards my friend because of her Asian heritage (and for context I am white). Not a welcoming experience at all.

A nice quaint place that's cozy and worth the visit. It has a vintage feel to it and the room was a good size.

I stayed for 3 full weeks weekends off. They did not bother me unless I needed something. Great service and wiked privacy. Good rooms, i tried out 3 different rooms as i like to sleep around. This place will definitely be seeing me around again.

The location is a stone's throw from the beautiful Barrie waterfront.Customer service was friendly and efficient. Our room (The Simpson Suite) was decorated in quaint furnishings appropriate to the historic home).The addition of a breakfast would make this a five star historical stay.

Amazing stay this weekend! Very small and historic hotel with a quiet and relaxing environment. Steps away from the lake and about a 5 minute walk to the the main downtown strip. Awesome getaway overall.

Rooms were fine and clean however the walls are extremely thin. We could hear the people in the adjacent room were lightly talking all night. Service was fine except for the lack of 24h in keeping service. I believe the front desk person starts at 11am and leaves earlier than 6pm. The location is great however and in walking distance to great food options.
