Royal City Studios

Attended my first and not last concert at this clean, spacious and versatile studio on Aug. 8th with Kathleen Kovacs and the Four Degrees showcasing their awesome musical talents. I loved every minute of it. This is a true gem of a place in Guelph for musicians and music lovers alike! I look forward to seeing it succeed beyond imagination! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Do check it out and attend the next fundraising concerts on Aug. 9th and 12th!

I went with my dad last Sunday for a jam session since he plays the drums. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped inside, people were so friendly and open, specially the host, Yuri. It is an amazing place to go, have a beer, listen to live music with talented musicians while they have fun meeting other musicians. My dad loved it and I also had a lot of fun watching him play with people he just had met. Very casual environment. Highly recommended.They also have rooms for rehearsals that can be rented, and a recording room. This place is any musician's dream!

Great for Open Mic Blues on Wednesdays and open mic on Thursdays.

I booked this hall for my wedding later this year, however due to circumstances beyond my control we had to cancel. Weeks after we sent the deposit the hall got back to us and said they were going bankrupt, and we have yet to receive the money for our deposit from them. Pretty pathetic they never said anything to us when we booked, so we would have risked not even having a venue to have my wedding at if I didn’t cancel.

Outstanding rehearsal facility. Spotless rooms. Great gear available. Really comfortable place to get some work done and be creative. No noise from other bands in other rooms. The people who work there are top-notch. Highly recommend this facility.Mike FlemingPractically Hip band.

Attended a battle of the bands as spectators. My 2 granddaughters, both 11 years old, enjoyed watching the numerous musicians very respectively compete. The acts were very diverse, the staff very friendly and informative. We didn't get a chance to have a look at the rest of the studios, but we'll be returning in the not too distant future to check out the whole facility. Both girls were quite inspired and are now asking me about guitars and maybe lessons. Thanks to Royal City Studios and the organizers of the battle of the bands, You guys Rock !!! I heard that Royal City Studios puts on a great open mic blues night that my wife and I will attend soon.

Great group of people sharing the joy of creating and performing music. Very welcoming and positive atmosphere. I enjoy coming here to play and to watch other musicians perform.
