Beachwood Hollow Resort

2nd time staying here and the hosts are very accommodating. Cabins are nicely updated and clean and the fishing is fantastic. Just remember you have to bring your own sheets and pillows (I forgot)...

Our family just stayed here for a week and had such a fantastic time. The sandy beach is perfect for young kids, the large playground is good for kids of all ages with so many toys available for the campers use.Some of the cottages are still a bit rustic but still comfortable and clean.Lots of great activities here or nearby. The owners were always checking with us to see how we were doing and letting us know about stuff nearby that we could check out.We'll definitely be back. Thanks for a great week!

Went there last weekend and had a great time, very relaxing and great fishing. The beach was fantastic and the water looked very inviting too bad the weather wasn't cooperating to be able to go for a swim . The cottages are rustic but this is what is expected when going to a cottage. The new owners have done a lot of work already in the short time they have owned it and the plans they have sound wonderful. Looking forward to see the changes. Will definitely be reserving a cottage next summer for our vacation.

if I could give it 6 stars, I would... just a great place. the owners are friendly, knowledgeable about the lake, and are great to talk too. The cottages are spotless. We enjoyed our stay for 16 days, a while back, and will be back soon in the early fall....

This was our third time at Beachwood in 4 years (would have been 4 if we had not ventured elsewhere). The owners Gerry and Joanna are very nice, and go above and beyond. This year was our first year bringing our own boat, and we had troubles right off the bat. Gerry was extremely helpful in helping us out and getting our boat running. We also rent a cottage for the week, a different one each year. The cottages are clean and fully furnished. It's quiet, the view of the lake is breathtaking any time of day as I love taking photos. We started coming here as a birthday gift for my son, a fishing week. Now it has become not only a fishing week but a family vacation; fishing, shopping, eating, campfires, and more fishing. Beachwood Hollow is truly a breath of fresh air.

The lake has many weeds making it a bit less attractive.

We spent a great vacation there in July. Owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and had a perfect lakeview. Our daughter enjoyed swimming, kayaking and playing at the playground. Would definitely come back next year!

This place was a great choice for a family with kids! Our 9 year old had a blast jumping off the dock and going down the slide and our 3 year old loved the playground and beach toys available. It was nice that they have toy boxes on beach and playground as we had no room in our Jeep for extras to bring! Our cottage was older but it was clean and comfortable with satellite and wifi. The owners make sure everyone is comfortable and you feel safe around the resort like you are at home. Husband went fishing using boat rental and managed to get a Muskie so he gives a thumbs up! Dock was great for little ones to snag some small fish hanging out. Great experience
