I would 100 recommend this nail salon. I had a shellac manicure and my technician, Shiwangi did a great job! Furthermore, she was very friendly and gave me tips and advice on how to maintain my very dry cuticles. They definitely take their customer service and hygiene seriously!

I loooove my bio gel manicure! Antonina is lovely! I appreciate how focused she is and how meticulous she is. I love my manicure! Coming back!

Made an appointment to get a bio-gel nail fixed with Niusha and she did an amazing job. Paid so much attention to detail and was super kind. Also loved the hand scrub and lotion bar. This salon is on the expensive side but I can see why!

One of the best manicure experiences I've ever had! I showed up with a reference of what design I wanted and Martina did it so perfectly. She was super friendly, very attentive and did an amazing job. At the end of your service you're treated to a hand scrub and velvety hand cream.During these times, we're all hyper-sensitive to avoiding large crowds. Going into Brookfield Place where many of their tenants are working from home made me feel very safe. Onyx was also very clean and followed all health and safety procedures.Thanks Martina and Ami for a lovely birthday memory! xx

Onyx is such a vibe! Everyone is so welcoming and the salon is always spotless.I’m so grateful someone referred me to Laura, I always leave a happy client. Laura’s attention to detail is impeccable. It’s clear she really loves what she does and it shows in her quality of work. She takes the time to make sure everything is perfect. I have only ever seen Laura and she introduced me to dip powder on my first visit. They never chip or break which is huge for me because I’m quite rough on my nails.I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Literally perfect pedicure - as someone who does not like going to get pedicures done, I like going here. I am impressed with how detailed and thorough their style of pedicure is. The foot drill that smoothens skin is a game-changer. As a Muslim, finding wudu-friendly bare pedicures that actually look luxe is a challenge. Onyx impeccably succeeds in this, and their pedicures also last significantly longer than the usual kind. I can go several months between pedicures and my feet still look sharp - normal pedis it’s a few weeks max.I appreciate how my technician noticed I was quiet and didn’t try to force conversation, and how after she would finish each step she would inspect it for perfection and ask me if I felt it was complete before moving on to the next thing. With Onyx there’s no waking up the next day and seeing overlooked spots on your cuticles.The pace is relaxing as the staff are allotted proper time to do the service without rushing, and the decor is elegant and soothing. It’s nice that music was very quiet, and that the salon was impeccably clean.It’s evident the owner and staff place quality, detail and hygiene as a priority.I won’t go anywhere else!

I first booked my appointment for dip nails with Martina and I’ve been loving it ever since. I keep rebooking and coming back! I am that impressed.The place is quaint but the ladies there are friendly and accommodating. Very sanitary, clean and bright! Not cluttered and the colour options will not overwhelm you. No unnecessary furniture or shelves, everything is being utilized and organized. I like the hand washing station with the scrubs and lotions, it’s an absolute experience and my hands are loving it.Finding a good, consistent and meticulous nail tech is a struggle, but with Martina, my nails are always perfect every visit.I book her 2/3 months in advance for dip nails, you can tell she’s popular. She’s great and passionate at what she does. Glad I found Onyx, I will keep supporting and coming back to this place for my nails.

This was my first time at Onyx, and I had a great experience. Shiwangi did a fantastic job, I asked for a neutral shellac set, and that’s exactly what she did. 10/10 will definitely be going back!

Came for my first ever eyebrow shape clean up. I was a bit worried before coming because I was scared to get my eyebrow shape ruined but it turned out to be a great experience. Specialist Martina was very friendly and attentive to detail. She asked me what exactly I wanted and made sure to get that done. I really appreciate her double checking and making sure I like each step she took while waxing. Overall I’m very happy with Martina's service and professionalism. Thank you
