On the last day for their soft opening, it's amazing what they have setup so far. The food is amazing. The menu items are of high quality choices and ingredients chosen are fresh and complex. First time experience steak tart tart with a touch of lemon grass, and it elevated the taste from what I was expecting; genius! The seafood in the paella was cook perfectly, the seafood didn't dry out and still juicy. The fried calamari was really good. The two sauces are prefect choices for this appetizer. It's nice to get a choice, many places only give you one sauce. The staff and service was great and accommodating.

FYI. I don’t give out a lot of reviews but when I do it’s because I really like the place.When you hear fusion food I typically roll my eyes and run away from those places because more often than not it’s turns out all show and low on taste. Thankfully this is not the case for Chillax & Co. Having frequent their other location for Brunch we’ve been waiting for this new location a try and worked out perfectly for my Father’s Day dinner.Their appetizers , mains and drinks are diverse so sure to find something for everyone. What’s makes this place fun is they serve something familiar but they have their own unique twist to it.Everything sounded interesting but couldn’t have it all in one sitting. We ordered Octopus salad, Clam chowder and Chicken wings for apps. Guys they used fresh clams shells and all , it was wonderful. Then the wings , they deboned them but it didn’t lose their shape. Double thumbs up from my girls! Octopus salad was good served in a bowl with a lot of salad. Personally would have preferred maybe less greens and served on plate as grilled octopus with some small greens.Mains were all amazing and portions were on point. We had seafood pasta and very good. Just be careful it was pretty spicy even for us. Definitely too hot for our kids so make note if ordering.The mushroom risotto was delicious and flavourful and rice cooked to perfection IMO.Finally my steak portion was surprisingly generous for not being at a steak restaurant it was cooked perfect medium rare and cut beautifully angled. The yummy surprise was the roasted potatoes! OMG they were warm and you dip it in their gravy. Divine.All the staff we’re welcoming and friendlyConsidering what we ordered and the portions served this place provides such great value . Most importantly their food is amazing. If you loved their Bistro on Leslie then rest assured it’s the same crew pushing out the same consistent quality grub. Love this place and can’t wait to return to try their other items we missed !

Absolutely amazing experience. Fusion of Japanese, Chinese, and European flavours. We had the tartare and shrimp for the table. I’m not going to go into the specifics of what we ordered individually because I don’t want to type them out (and because their names are hard to remember).But the beef tartare, as I had told the chef, made me see GOD. My little brother ate it and said it touched his heart. My aunt had it and couldn’t speak. I would kill for a meal like this again. I would do anything to eat a bite of that tartare again for the first time because it was a religious experience.I ordered the spaghetti and I nearly cried. I never felt happier. I never felt more love. I felt true love at that first bite. I have never felt joy like I have felt today. I have never been loved by food until today. It is what butter noodles and straight up heaven tastes like. Everything else my family ordered was delicious. The ramen was flavourful and perfectly salty, the steak had a beautiful colour and cut just right, the risotto was made just perfect with the mushrooms. The mushrooms texture was meaty and creamy. Just amazing.Service was also not bad at all. The people working seemed busy but always stopped to listen to requests. Water is provided quickly and always available for refills. Decorations was stunning. It looks very unassuming on the outside but it looks great on the inside. Spacious and comfortable seating. The washrooms were clean. There is literally nothing bad about this place. The pricing for the starters is a bit high but the main courses were more than affordable. I have never seen a restaurants with as many menu items that’s Italian with items under 20? THERES A MAIN COURSE UNDER 20??? Do you see how long this review is???? It was the best dining experience Ive had in Toronto. If this doesn’t convince you to go idk what else will!!!!!!!!The chef. If you’re reading this. Call me. Please. Please?

They’re having a soft open so me and my partner stopped by for dinner and had an amazing experience.Staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant with homey vibes despite being pretty spacious.Everything on the menu sounded really nice so we ordered a lot to share (7 whole dishes haha). Surprisingly, they all came out very fast and the presentation was amazing! I highly recommend the clam chowder and beef tartar! My partner is obsessed with the ribs so get that too if you don’t mind getting your hands in there. Also get the mango berry soda, it’s refreshing and not too sweet.Wendy, our server was absolutely incredible! She was so nice and attentive. Sometimes the other servers would stop by to check on us too. Really made us feel welcomed there. This lone visit has made this one of my favorite spots!Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere, plus it’s all at an affordable price, what more would you want, right?10/10 would definitely come back to try other dishes.

Pros: Beautifully-decorated, spacious and rustic interior, the perfect atmosphere to impress a date. Food was alright, on par with many of the upscale brunch places popping up around the GTA. I'm not sure what is meant by fusion" food

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chillax & Co, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The food was absolutely delectable, and the presentation was a work of art. From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully crafted. The attention to detail in the food design was evident, with vibrant colors, intricate plating, and creative garnishes that showcased the chef's culinary prowess.Highly recommended.

Chillax & Co. is a rustic Asian bistro located in Richmond Hill. They just recently opened and I had the pleasure of dining in during their soft opening. My friend and I arrived at 6:30pm and they were more than happy to seat us early despite us having a reservation for 7pm. We were introduced to the menu and the waitstaff made great recommendations.We got two appetizers to share, and each of us got a main entree and drink. For appetizers, we shared the steak tartare and clam chowder. Both were very good, but I strongly recommend the tartare! They don't provide enough crisps though :( The clam chowder is good, but needs a bit more salt. It includes actual real clams inside! For drinks, we got the cheesy mango matcha iced tea latte (just OK) and a toffee white mocha (good). For mains, we got the spaghetti sukiyaki and laksa curry noodle soup. Both were very, very good and very filling! We also ordered a chocolate cake for dessert, but they ran out, and they were more than happy to provide us with additional drinks on the house. We ended up getting a matcha latte and the yuzu cream soda. The yuzu cream soda was super delicious - I'd get it again! I did notice after I got home that we were still charged for the dessert we didn't get though :(The prices are a bit higher than your average bistro, so I'm glad for their soft opening promo (20% off). But, I'd definitely visit again - there's just too many things on their menu I want to try!

The atmosphere is delightful, and the staff is friendly, providing excellent food. While they could be a bit quicker in food preparation, it's understandable for a newly opened restaurant. The food tastes fantastic, and I highly recommend giving them a try. Their service and cuisine are top-notch, and you won't be disappointed.
