Reset

Reset is exactly what the world needs right now. A heart-centered, intentional place where I can meet new and old friends, have fun and playful experiences, and work with amazing collaborators. So grateful for this space and these people!!!

Reset is an amaaazing space to build an intentional community and life-long friendships -- I've been part of Reset for the past 8+ years through the summer camps and it has impacted my life in every way. I visited the Reset co-working space located in 634 Vaughan Road a few weeks ago. The first thing I felt when I walked through the doors was love. And then peace. And calm.The space is healing. Because community built that space with their labour of love and intention. To have this place in the middle of the city...where we can recharge and feel connected to ourselves and to others in a healing way...is incredible. Thank you Reset and to everyone who worked so hard to build this beautiful home for all of us :)

I love co-working from the Reset Centre - it has all the comforts of working from home (e.g., comfy spots to work from, coffee + tea, clean bathrooms, places to nap) with the added bonus of a super friendly and welcoming community.Leaving my phone inside my locker when I arrive helps me stay more focused, and getting to connect with other community members during the recess break leaves me feeling energized for the rest of the day.

What a great working place! I work both remotely and in person, and found that Reset was a welcoming, warm, and comfortable location for me to get focused.The staff are friendly and communicative but as hands off (or on) as you need them to be. They made me and my friend feel at home, and I would also be ok going alone. We were super productive and even had a lovely short yoga break in the afternoon. You can bring your own food (they have a fridge + kitchen), but the neighbourhood has some good eats and the Reset staff made some yummy suggestions for lunch. My friend and I left feeling refreshed, not too tired, despite a whole day's work.I will be coming here again for sure. Thank you for being here for the community ... <3

Reset is such a comfortable and motivating place to work. The space has tables, chairs, and couches to fit whatever workspace you need and the break times were nourishing moments of connection that refreshed me to dive back into work. Plus, an afternoon popcorn snack!

I come to Reset after work to decompress and connect. It is a beautiful space and I love feeling as though I am hanging out in someone's home. I love the fact that I can sit quietly to read or journal but that I can also break this up with conversations. I've attended some really wonderful events at Reset that have been replenishing and have provided me with the opportunity to meet some really creative people. Reset is an amazing addition to the Oakwood-Vaughan community.

Entering the space, I've always received a warm greeting, and I can never quite tell if it's staff or someone else there simply being friendly - friendly, warm, present, and welcoming is the vibe through and through.Not to mention the comfortable, easeful, 'at home' energy - grab a tea, someone hands me a bit of freshly popped popcorn, and I can sit at a table with beautiful plants and natural light with other friendly folks to get some focus work done, or on a couch to read a chapter of my or the many fascinating books scattered about there, or go nap - without any of my usual anxiety or fear of how I might look - in a hammock in the enchanted forest area downstairs...Even writing that last sentence sounds absurd and yet it is very literally true, and so special in so many ways beneath the space, too - cool local sourcing of all kinds of stuff; tremendous community engagement in more ways I learn each time I'm there; genre-stretching, profoundly-designed, love-filled programming...Anyway obviously I'm a fan but it really is the kind of place that feels like each item, placement, colour, person, and activity are filled with intentionality and care.Thank you for this incredible space - I'm grateful to get to share in it from time to time.

Reset has been such a positive addition to my work routine. After peering into the windows curiously in the summer of 2022, I made an appointment online to have a tour. Adil kindly showed me around the two floor space, and explained the mission: accessible co-working that incorporates community, connection, creativity, play and digital wellness. Umm... WOW! The space itself has multiple areas and nooks to set up, talk, and relax (the lower floor features a hammock) and the vibe is friendly and welcoming. The people I've met here and unbelievably kind and purpose-driven. I consider myself SO lucky to live within walking distance of this lovely community hub and co-working space. They are developing special features in their outdoor space as well- lots happening in this special spot. Highly recommend a visit!

I love visiting the Reset Centre! I’ve experienced it in a few different ways and it’s always been such a cup-filling experience. Disconnecting from my phone for the day, connecting with the humans in front of me, I’ve experienced deeper connections and better focus without the tether of a phone. As a place to reconnect with my inner child and experience healing, loving acceptance in play-inclusivity; and where my creativity blossoms. The space has been so lovingly co-created to be a place where everyone is welcome. You can relax, breathe, create a vision, make it come to life. And Play. All. Day. while you do it! It’s just a spark of joy I’m the city that I hope more people get to experience!

The best way I can describe Reset is like going to a friend's house. It's cozy, warm, and welcoming. There's space to focus and work, but you can also meet like-minded folks, and strike up engaging conversations. The basement is even more cozy, and provides an even more relaxing and decompressing space. Leaving your phone in the locker may seem stress-inducing, but I promise you will not miss it. I highly recommend this space to anyone who needs a home away from home.
