Streetsville Children's Centre

Right from the first day we got into the daycare my husband loved it. It Reminded him of his own daycare(which was fantastic). We enrolled our daughter immediately. The owners were very understanding and helpful, they even gave some concession that made me KNOW that it was not “all about the money” for them. I go to work peacefully everyday knowing that my precious baby girl is at a daycare that caters to the child first before the topic of “money” comes up. I love their curriculum, my 18 month old has learnt so much and speaks so clearly. She can have conversations with me (I expected to start understanding her words from 2 or 3 years old). There’s an open line of communication, the owners are always reachable and highly supportive of their parents. I would definitely recommend!.. oh! and they helped my baby get on a sleep routine! (any mother who hasn’t hacked the sleep routine would understand the relief this brings). Overall I would give them a 5 star rating. It’s been a positive experience with the teachers, owners and school environment.

Horrible daycare !!! Horrible experience dealing with the owner Jacky ! Unprofessional, rude and disrespectful person. She doesn’t know how to talk to parents or deal with problems .She is not psychologist or doctor to put tags on kids. I was shocked to hear from her that I will be embarrassed to see how my 3 year old child behaves in class . Daycare is all about making money , they are getting a negative developmental diagnosis and quickly offering solutions to use their therapist and ALL Your family benefits on the child . They would NOT except any feed back from doctors or other therapists coz Jacky believes that it’s wrong or not working ! When I refused go through daycare therapist she told me that she is sorry to hear that we don’t want to help our child .. what’s wrong with you Jacky ???As long as this daycare runs by Jacky it will be worst place to take your kids !

Owners are on site everyday, staff are wonderful, programming is top. 30 years in peel. Parents feel welcomed, listened to and helped.

I would be weary of this place. I’m in the Mississauga moms group on FB and it appears the owner (Jacky) is looking to hire an ECE assistant and highlighted “we can hire unqualified” (her words) in her posting. I would be weary sending my child here knowing that there isn’t a thorough vetting process for hiring people to work with such a vulnerable population. A scary thought.Edit: Please see response from owner and use your best judgement.

Great place to send your little ones. Good curriculum, structure, kiddos learn their manners!! Only slight drawback- frequent early closure impact full time workers. Would highly suggest - a great daycare.

Great teachers that care, very strict with safety, and great program, one of the best out there. However as several Yellow Pages reviews state, we also felt the owners are very quick to get a negative developmental diagnosis to get more government funding and try to get kids to stay with them into their public school years. They had a terrible Google score and so many bad reviews they changed their name from Streetsville Academy. Extremely rude owners.

How this place is still allowed to operate is beyond me. They are so quick to provide negative diagnosis and the fact that they provide and push so many services on site that aren’t available at any other day care is indicative of them getting a kickback.

I highly recommend Streetsville Children's Centre. My son started at Streetsville at 16 months and was there until the end of grade one. Then back in the school for the balance of grade four when we had issues with the private school he was enrolled in from grade two to part way through grade four. This school gave my son a great base and saved him when he desperately needed a place to go after a horrible experience. Now my son is in grade 9 and thriving because he had the great educational base at Streetsville Children's Centre.Thank you Jacky and staff for everything you have done for my son and my family.

Jacky and Emma were flexible and accommodating when it came to meeting our schedule/needs. All of the teachers truly care about your child adapting well and having a great day. Good communication via their app with news, messages, pictures etc. Lunches are catered and always balanced with a good variety. Safety is exceptionally streamlined. Overall we're highly satisfied with this school and our son is genuinely excited to go each morning.

I sent my 3 yr old son here from 9 am to 12:30 pm because I work during those hours. My son has ASD so he requires extra care and supervision . We had discussed his condition prior to enrolling him in this daycare. Jacky recently told me that my son is being disruptive and he’s hard to supervise. She then demanded that I pick him up earlier everyday even though that’s not possible due to my work. She then yelled at me in the school lobby and told me to find another daycare. If you are looking for a daycare that will accommodate children with autism this is not it. She was incredibly rude and I DO NOT recommend this daycare!
