Rexall

Visiting a friend live over there and visit the location for the first time. Got a gift card via Vicky, she was fairly rude during the purchasing process. There are the gift cards in the box right by the cashier, she reached her hands to it but didn’t grab anything out but decided to make a call to ask a colleague if they have more gift card in the back, then asked me if I purchased gift card yesterday, after that she somehow magically get a card out of the box she initially reached to and get a card out. As the whole thing was so sketchy, so I decided to redeem the card right after I back to the car. And no surprise it says the code is in valid, went back to the shop, she says there is nothing she can do, not checking if it’s activated or anything that can help, and doesn’t care at all. Now I stuck with this gift card I can’t redeem can’t return.

Went there the other day to pick up some stuff. The cashier Elena was so sweet and carried a great conversation with me. Very respectful.

Do not go to this walk in! I came here with white spots on the back of my throat, quite visible as myself and another person saw them with a simple phone flashlight. The doctor told me there was no white spots, and to use mouthwash and nose spray to help with the “cold”, and proceeded to test me for strep. They never called me back, so I assumed I did not have strep. I ended up going to a hospital and the strep results came back positive. Never did the walk in call me back to confirm that I needed antibiotics. I do not recommend. This is my second bad experience with this walk-in.

I encountered the rudest cashier in my life today. Her name is Antoinetta- the white old lady with a glasses on. I was returning products due to allergic reaction, both products that I’ve never tried before. She told me to contact the companies instead. what for? Ive never heard that kind of policy before. And out of nowhere, She told me that I’m the very first person she encounter returning a well known product due allergic reaction. Like she was accusing me of lying. I used to love shopping here but not anymore.Rexall please train well your employees and educate them about manners too.

I 've lived in Woodbridge for 31 years. I have to say I find the the staff at the front in Rexall Woodbridge( weston and rutherford location) to be really nice. I really want to comment on Toni who really is exceptional in her manner to everyone. I have observed her dedication to her job for years. Her knowledge of the products in store is really helpful.She never rushes anyone who needs assistance. She is always kind, especially to the elderly people that come in. I really hope Rexall recognizes and appreciates what a wonderful, dedicated employee that they have in Toni. I really believe in acknowledging and rewarding people that serve the public and hope that Rexall does so too. They are really lucky to have Toni on staff, and I feel the people in the community are fortunate too.

Pharmacist with glasses is very unpleasant. I get prescribed a specific nasal spray yearly to help with my seasonal allergy symptoms. I heard that pharmacists can now prescribe certain medications so I showed up to inquire about this because I wasn’t too sure if this qualifies. The pharmacist barely looked my way and just pointed at a shelf and said “take an over the counter nasal spray”. I would not be inquiring if an over the counter spray was what I needed. She completely avoided my inquiry about the specific spray I was looking for. If you cannot prescribe it to me that’s no problem but please have some manners and put together a sentence when communicating with patients. Just explain to me what you can and cannot prescribe rather than avoiding the question and not bothering to have a conversation when I’m just looking to be informed.To add to this, the Rexall website indicates that allergy medications can be prescribed by pharmacists. If my nasal spray is excluded from that list, she could have at least explained that to me.

Absolutely shocked to read other comments...I have been coming to this store twice a week for 5 months...consistently I find the staff to be extremely friendly. I wish I knew the name of the lady upfront, who greets everyone who comes in or when they leave the store. If anyone needs to learn how to provide excellent customer experience then lady up front would be the best teacher. I only write reviews for places or people who go above and beyond to make my experience pleasant.

This Rexall is the worst location I have ever been too. The staff and pharmacist are rude. Went to pick up meds for someone and picked up an item on sale from the shelf. After I noticed that I was over charged I went back to clarify. They then refused to honour the price advertised. Tried talking to the assistant manager which got me nowhere. She was super rude too and you wonder, why it’s so empty in there.

Got followed around the store. I was browsing and checking stuff out and everywhere I went, an employee with short blonde hair was ALWAYS around me. They treat their customers like trash. Would not go back.
