RayPort Campground

Great place. Along the river is beautiful !Great biking, hiking, walking trails.Many species of birds around, which was so beautiful.Nice flat spots.Cleanest washrooms I have ever been to at a campground.Hookups and dumping stations fast and easy.It was great there was a food truck close to campground.Easy and friendly check in.Nice convenience store. Even sell local craft beer.We will be back!

We are right on the water.very nice we will stay a extra day. And check out the town just down the road.

Stayed 4 nights while exploring the area. Host was very accommodating as we juggled dates due to the disruption of Hurricane Fiona. Lovely treed Park. River behind our site. Ducks visited us daily. Facilities were clean. Great showers. Did laundry. Friendly staff. Easy drive to area attractions.

A really nice, relaxing, friendly campground. Flat and level sites. Good electric and water. Sites have gray water drain but no black tank drain. There is a dump station and I believe honeywagon service. Located on a river with some sites backing onto it. Very peaceful. Clean and has laundry facilities. Beautiful tall pines and maple trees throughout the campground.Ideally located near Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Chester and Lunenburg.We really enjoyed the campground.

Great campground. Very clean and welcoming! Wifi worked well and the showers were the best I've used at all of the campgrounds I have been to. They have a laundry room as well. There is a pool however it was cold so we didn't get to use it. Ray the owner is so accommodating and kind! Will be back!

Was a great family friendly place for us to spend the night while cycling the blue route with our family between Lunenburg and Halifax. The family that runs this are friendly and helpful and made us feel at home during our brief stay. To you I say - Thank you so much for how welcome your made us feel and how helpful you were. You have a beautiful spot!

Hidden gem! Well maintained and cared for by Ray and Dave. Bathrooms and showers are immaculate! I've never seen public facilities this clean, wow! Pool is super clean. Nothing shows age. The sites by the river are some of the best I've been at any campgrounds I've ever been at. Site a close but not on top of each other. Owners treat you like family. I would recommend in an instant!

Great spot!! When the water is flowing the river is quite nice. The regular family of ducks visits were extra special. Camp staff were very friendly and accommodating. Site were large and level each with a fire pit. Perfect launching pad for day trips into Mahoney bay, Lunenburg and Peggy’s Cove. Happy camping!!!

Great campground. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Loved the pool. Sad that there was no playground, but with it being a Halloween weekend, kids were happy campers!!! Definitely going to be back :)

We stayed here for two days in early July. We had a great time. Our toddler loved playing in the pool and cruising his bike around the park. He also loved exploring the river behind our campsite, which was the perfect depth for a toddler to play safely, though this could change depending on the time of year. Staff was very friendly, as was the community of seasonal guests. A handful of spots had their service hook ups in awkward places, but that's easy to work around. The campground is situated conveniently close to Mahone Bay, which makes for great excursions for the family to go exploring and taken in the beauty of the South Shore. Recommended!
