Cloud 9 Doggy Daycare

My little guy, Pablo, has been going to Cloud 9 Doggy Daycare one day a week for just over 2 years now. It's been really good for him and has built his confidence with other dogs.  One thing that I really like is that Rachelle doesn't let him get away with bad behaviour - I really appreciate that.  He comes home happy and tuckered out!!  I also have left him with Rachelle when we've gone away for a few days and I know he is well cared for (even though I call or e-mail just to make sure - that's more for me than Pablo!!!). Thanks Rachelle!!

I have a 4.5 pd chihuahua and she'd been to a few other daycares where she was very afraid and unsettled. When I brought her to Cloud 9 she was a different dog. She was introduced to 15 dogs and she was immediately comfortable and calm because all the other dogs were calm and well behaved.

I started taking my rescue dog Dexter here for almost 3 years now and while he was always a well-behaved dog, he did have some trouble 'listening' at times. Not only does he love his little friends, but he loves Rachelle and Bud so much! He has a fun, structured day and I never, ever have to worry about his safety or well-being. He can hardly wait to get out of the car when we arrive and he never looks back. At the end of the day, he is a very happy and tired puppy. Whatever special attention he needs, like meals or whatever, Rachelle provides the extra care and attention that is hard to find. Great value and great place!

Rachelle and her team have been involved with our dogs care since he was 4 months old. Rachelle has had a pivotal role in his training as well as ours, we would not have the same dog without her help. Her business caters to small dogs and she works closely with dogs who suffer from separation anxiety and behavioral issues. She is honest, to the point and we strongly believe in her methods and her team; they do a wonderful job. If you are looking for a place where your dog can learn and grow, bring them to Cloud 9 Doggy Daycare.

Rachelle is very personable and provides a safe and welcoming environment for our puppy. Callie excitedly enters the door to Cloud 9 and comes hope tired from her day of socializing and playing with other small dogs. While Callie is in a supervised environment, Callie learns key socializing skills which will see her well balanced into her senior years.

I have been taking my 2 chihuahuas to cloud 9 for almost 2 years and have participated in training, daycare as well as boarding. I can not say enough about this business! After my careful research for the right dog daycare I chose Cloud 9 as the best fit for my 2 girls and am I ever happy I did!! I feel comfort in knowing Rachelle and her highly personable staff are fully committed to the safety and happiness of my 2 dogs. Rachelle continues to go above and beyond what would typically be expected of a daycare in general, she has given me continued ongoing support in the care of my 2 dogs, answering my questions and addressing my concerns. They take extra safety measures inside and outside of the daycare. With playtime, cookie time and training Bella & Lulu are well adjusted socialized and trained due to the extensive knowledge and professionalism of these true dog lovers!.. I highly recommend you talk to them!

I have been taking my puppy to Cloud 9 for three months now and I admit I was extremely anxious about leaving him for the first couple of weeks. (We both have separation anxiety apparently)! I very quickly saw how much my boy loved going there as he couldn’t wait to get out of the car and into the daycare to play with his new friends every single time. Rachelle is authoritative but caring, diligent in his obedience training and provides an environment which is safe and fun…what more could you ask for?! I have seen him progress under her care and I have absolute peace of mind knowing my pup is in such capable, loving hands and having the best time all day long!

This is my dog's favourite place in the whole world. He's been visiting for over four years. Rachelle and her team are incredibly adept and wonderful! Cleanliness is a 10!!! This place will provide you with peace of mind, and your little dog with Love!!!

My dog has been going to Cloud 9 for almost 9 years and Rochelle has watched him grow from a young adult to a slowing down senior. My dog knows what day he is going to Cloud 9 and follows me closely those mornings as he is worried I might forget to take him. When we get to Cloud 9 he runs in without a backward look to me and I am so grateful my small dog has a safe environment to be in and under Rochelle’s watchful care. Cloud 9 is the only place I take my dog for daycare and the only place he boards when necessary. Good job, Rochelle,,

I took my beagle here because it seemed like a safe environment. I was wrong.I picked him up on Monday to hear rachelle yelling at him to “get down” and then I heard him bark. Rachelle later admitted that she had “backed up into him”.Rachelle has said multiple times that Murphy isn’t “beaten enough” at daycare. I understood this as a joke until the incident on Monday occurred.Every time I pick Murphy up, I hear the workers yelling at the dogs (aside from the lovely older lady that works there). It is a hostile environment.They also have a certain time of day during lunch that they call “quiet time”. During this time, they lock all of the dogs in kennels and do god knows what. Murphy was never kennelled before this experience and had high amounts of anxiety (rachelle would tell me that he was “singing” all through nap time) while being in the crate. He was not transitioned into this crate, merely stuffed in and locked up for an hour.I have seen Rachelle be super sweet to mostly smaller dogs. She just seemed to have it out for Murphy. It really is a shame - we are forced to move back home because of her lack of care for Murphy.I do think there is a good idea of discipline at this daycare, but it is not followed through correctly.I do not recommend Cloud 9 Doggy Daycare to anyone that does not want their dog to be yelled at all day.
