I always wondered what happened to these places when it wasn’t calendar season. Turns out they’re great places to pick up boardgames if you don’t have a game shop nearby - plus toys and of course calendars.

Maria is one of the the most helpful employees i have come across. I went in today to find a gift for my nephew and she had many suggestions and was very knowledgeable about the products i asked about. This isn't my first interaction with her, i have been helped by her many times over the years and have never left dissatisfied.

Unbelievable plethora calendars to choose from, as well as puzzles, games and many other offerings! Prices were a bit higher than I would have expected but very friendly staff and definitely LOTS of choices!

Exceptional service from Scott and the team at this Calendar Club location specifically! I’ve been helped multiple times at this location and each time the staff and Scott have answered all my questions! They are quite knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like a truly valued customer here and it is all because of the way I was treated. When asked by my friends and family where to go for planners/calendars/gifts etc. I 100% always recommend they check out Calendar Club at the Southcentre location specifically. I hope that Scott and his team get the recognition they truly deserve. Will return for my future needs!

Any time I visit this location I am provided with great commentary on my purchases.The sales staff provides input on games when they have direct knowledge and where able to find the exact calendar I was looking for.This is not a toy store, despite what what other may mention. It is a store that sells items, toys being one of them. Parents who are looking for things for their kids to play with would be better served taking their children to the play center 100 meters down the hallway and not sully the product that others will actually buy.

Been shopping at this location for a long time. Great staff esp Scott. Love the selection and prices!!! Will continued to shop at this store for toys,... for my four grandsons.

My son played with some puppets (one of which was on the floor when we arrived), as we were looking at some other things a sales guy very rudely made a comment about my 6 year leaving the $70 puppet on the floor. I heard him and corrected him by stating he put the puppet back where he found it. The sales guy continued to argue with me very loudly and rudely. It was ridiculous, especially in a toy store. If he wasn’t happy with what he thought he saw he could have been more professional about it at least! We walked out and I’ll never purchase another item from that store.

I don't often shop at the Calendar Club, as I do most of my board game shopping at the Discovery Hut, but while I was shopping at Southcentre yesterday evening I made a quick stop. The customer service rep on duty, Scott, was incredibly helpful in making recommendations. I was looking for a board game for my boyfriend, and he was able to help me find something that he'll love (and one that I won't mind playing either!). He was friendly, had god product knowledge, and made the experience more fun (partly by startling me with a Hairy Jumping Spider, haha!) Thanks, Scott!Update: we LOVE the game he suggested (Pandemic) and we can't stop playing it

Was in this store yesterday with my kids and some friends and was appalled to be followed around the store by 2 different members of staff as if we were about to shoplift.There was no greeting when we entered the store and nobody asked if we needed any help or even spoke to us. The children were playing with the toys but that is to be expected in a store with toys, they weren't disturbing any other customers or being unruly and they tidied everything up after themselves.It was a truly upsetting experience and I will not be spending any of my hard earned money at a store where this kind of staff behaviour is tolerated.
