Had the pleasure of having supper last night. Fantastic ambiance. Had the gnocci cacio pepe and pizza. Everything was fantastic. Great service. 100% recommend.

Dish selection on the menu is reasonable. Ingredients seemed fresh. Dish portion sizes are good. Meal quality/preparation could be better.Every pizza served at our table came with burnt/charred/black points which resulted in a reluctance to enjoy the meal as served focusing on removal of the burnt portions to reduce the distaste.Meals are overpriced. Water is payable.Good service/ Waiteress performed very well her functions.Atmosphere is good. Conversations could be maintained relatively well without elevating ones voice."

The food is AMAZING you have to try it! Their service is very friendly and they’re all super nice, we had ordered two pasta plates and a pizza and we were very happy. The taste of the plates we took was sooooo good. I would definitely recommend 10/10.One thing we may have not enjoyed too much was that the music was very loud and we couldn’t hear each other talk much but it was still great and not a deal breaker !I recommend that you réserve before going because the place is always full!Enjoy :)

Too expensive. Cesar salad was not fresh. Could not get tap water! They only serve bottled water and they charge for it! Pizza was very good. Not one appetizer under 17$! Opened the terrace doors in 30 degree weather so it was very hot. We chose to dine inside and not on a terrace for this reason. Wine list is very expensive as well.

I have been to Sofia’s in Rosemere quit a few times and loved the food and experience. I honestly did not like the set up at the Laval location.The tables are so close to one another felt like I was dining with the couple sitting beside us. The music was awfully loud I couldn’t hear anything anyone sitting beside me was saying.It was 32 degrees outside and the restaurant had their large patio windows open, therefore the heat inside the local was unbearable (it was actually cooler outside than inside). I couldn’t wait to leave!!Our waitress was nowhere to be found. My husband had to get up himself at the bar to order a coke, & when we would ask the busboy for drinks he would reassure us that our waitress will take our order…but she would show up 40min later & when confronted her response was “oh no one told me you wanted to order drinks!”.Another dislike is the shared bathrooms situation, as a woman I like my privacy when I go to bathroom (the disaster in those bathrooms on the busy weekends must be interesting!!) Bathrooms were filthy; no soap to wash hands, no toilette paper in the stalls, stalls out of order, clogged sink.

I had a great time at Sofia. Service was quick and efficient, food was very good, ambiance was great. I will go back for sure!

Food is not bad, portions could be bigger. The biggest problems with this restaurant are the VERY slow service and insanely loud music. It was very hard to hear each other and apparently they won't turn down the music. Not sure if this restaurant has an identity crisis and isn't sure if its a club or a restaurant?Also, they don't have seperate toilets for men and women, like why? The women in our group complained that the toilet was unusable given how dirty it was.
