Every part of my experience with Lori was amazing! She was super responsive throughout the booking process, answered all my questions readily and even provided extra communication to help me feel relaxed and ready for our session beforehand. The photoshoot itself was a blast! Lori’s open and exuberant personality put me right at ease and the little instructions she gave me to help with posing made me totally confident that she was capturing all my best angles. Best of all was how excited Lori got as she was shooting and the positive feedback she gave made me feel like a super model! I knew I was going to be thrilled with the photos before I ever saw them! When I did receive the proof (professionally presented in an easily to view online format), my mind was blown. Each photo more gorgeous than the last and a huge confidence boost. Absolutely the best gift I have ever given myself. I have actually lost 30 lbs since Lori first shot my portraits, but they are still the most beautiful photos ever taken of me and I love looking at them. Lori has done family photos for me on a few occasions. She was very professional and had a lot of great suggestions to make our photos wonderful keepsakes. She was able to take photos of my newborn, my toddler, my parents, all of my siblings and their families that were great (and in a park, no less!). Lori is a woman who makes you feel at home, while being totally professional in the same breath. I adore her. She cares deeply about her clients and the human connection beyond the camera lens - working with her has been a privilege. Her home studio is AMAZING and her makeup application is a nice touch for those of us who need help in that arena. (Bonus: she only uses gorgeous toxin-free products!)Lori is excellent at gently guiding you through different poses and gives you sneak peeks throughout photoshoots. Lori has a tremendous eye for detail coupled with an ability to understand the importance of nuance when trying to capture just the right image. The portrait Lori took of my brother and I perfectly captured the historical character we were looking to recreate all while shivering in -40 c without so much as a whimper. My experience from start to finish with Lori was amazing. We talked a lot in the pre-photo stage about what my vision was for the branding photos and she provided a lot of pre-shoot tips that were helpful so that I was ready. I can't overlook the positive reinforcements that came before the photos as well! Not all of us are confident in front of a camera.Turn around time and the finished shots were amazing, I had too many great shots to choose from which I never imagined being a problem!
