The stylists are very easy to talk to and they work quickly with high quality results. I've been getting my hair braided here for years and it's always amazing.

I visited this store this afternoon (April 13) and the employee working there was so kind and helpful. They did not carry the item I was looking for but I felt the employee did a really good job assisting me and answering my questions. She was very kind. I would definitely return and reccomend to others.

Can't express how much the people at MaryClaris truly do make your hair dreams come true!! :) The lovely ladies that work there make sure to listen to what you envision and do their level best to make it a reality. I've been getting my braids done here for YEARS and even after moving to Vancouver still drive in to get my hair done at MaryClaris, because its by the far the best I found this side of BC. Braids last long and don't slip out unlike the quality at other establishments in town. Love the environment in the store and feel completely taken care of while I am in there! Just purchased a wig from the ladies and was given the best advice on what would work best for the style I want and how to take care of it because I'm a beginner. The wig hair quality is amazing. Would highly recommend going here! Added a clip because these braids are unmatched and whenever I'm out, I'm always asked where I get my hair from and who does it?

I don’t write reviews often, but I absolutely HAD to for Mary-Claris! Five stars does not even do this place justice — I wish I could give them more.This is truly one of the best hair salons I’ve ever been to from the first-class customer service to the professionalism to the styling itself. I came here to do box braids and was so happy with how they turned out. I’ve gotten braids done in a number of different cities, but I have to say, I have never been more happy with the outcome until I came to this salon.Aside from braids, the store itself has so much to offer in terms of hair products and different styles to try as well. I’m so glad that I finally found a black hair salon in the Okanagan that I can trust with my hair! I cannot recommend this salon enough and I will definitely be returning in the near future :)

I made an appt for my friend and I to get our hair braided at the same time.. they ended up doing it one after another so we were there for 3.5 hours. On top of that, both of our braids were totally crooked and fuzzy. Last time I went there my braids lasted 3 weeks.. this time I'm taking them out after a week as they look awful now. I suggested if she could please use the cream like she did last time so they would last 3 weeks again and she didnt. For 130 dollars I would expect to thoroughly enjoy them for awhile and not hate how crooked they are everytime I look in the mirror. When I pointed out the crookedness, she was pretty rude about. Telling me it was wasting both our time.. then do it properly and we won't waste as much time!! Anyways, won't be going back again.

I got knotless braids and had two lovely ladies working on My head for 5 hours. I came providing My own hair extentions and they made sure that when I called, I knew the length and type I would want for the style that I was looking to pull off. Both incredibly nice, professional, booking My next appointment as we speak. Braids lasted easily 3 months, I just pushed it a little - and they took it. Absolutely wouldn't go anywhere else, these ladies are the bomb!Edit: went and redid them today, this time box style. As someone who didn't know a lot about hair extensions, my experience with Mary-Claris could not have been better! I went in during an awkward phase of growing my hair back out after shaving it off and it brought me my confidence back! The ladies were so knowledgable about their products and took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and helped me find the best option to suit my needs! They were quick, super friendly, and truly cared about my experience with their company! I left feeling super confident with my new hair and completely satisfied with their A+ quality work! I have the best experience at Mary-Claris. Not only do I leave with a great hair style but that’s ladies have great sense of humour and are great listeners. They need an award in therapy for sure!!!
