I had an appointment today, it was very spontaneous but I still could come back a few hours later. The artist Paul was really friendly, made sure I was okey with everything and he did a very good job with lines and also color. So I got exactly what I asked for, the design came out much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Everything was great there and also having such a good conversation with him made the expierience even better. I couldn't think about one thing that wasn't to my satisfaction. If I would live here, Paul would be my new tattoo artist of trust, so I recommend this studio to everyone who wants to get a new tattoo!

My first tattoo appointment here, the artist got exceedingly frustrated and angry when I requested modifications to a freshly drawn design that I was just seeing for the first time. I felt like it was fair for me to request changes and believe that I was reasonable in doing so. We eventually reached a compromise and I decided to go ahead with it, even though I was intimidated and shut myself down from requesting everything I truly wanted. The end result was a nice tattoo, but I left feeling quite upset by the interaction. Additionally, I noticed once I got home that there was a mistake in it. When I went back for a touch up 6 months later, the artist apologized, proving that I hadn’t imagined the hostility, and they were much kinder as they fixed the mistake.Later that year I received a gift certificate for the studio from a friend, so I decided to go back again and try a different artist. Similarly, this artist was very short-tempered, and treated me even more poorly than the first. They were completely disinterested in what I wanted, were watching television rather than looking me in the eye, and acted like I was a huge annoyance and burden whenever I tried to request anything regarding the tattoo. They rushed through it hastily, and then later, once it was done, calmed down and admitted that they were quickly frustrated due to dealing with so many tourists asking for complicated designs and being difficult to work with. Again, the end result is a nice tattoo, but it is not really what I had envisioned, and I left feeling upset again.I was really disheartened by these interactions. I am fairly new to tattoos (although I have been to two other studios), and I wanted to have an enjoyable, collaborative experience with the artist to mutually create tattoos that I would love forever. Instead, after each visit I was left feeling not just less than 100% enamored with the tattoo, but worse, feeling badly about myself and the whole experience. Those negative associations still come up when I look at the tattoos now. I really feel that I was good-humored, polite, and very respectful of the artist’s ideas – I continually asked them for input and wanted their expert advice. I only wish that they had similarly cared about my vision and wanted me to feel good about something that will be on my body forever, rather than jumping immediately to frustration and annoyance. I understand that they are bombarded with a lot of tourists daily, but still believe that kind customer service should be a core component of the job.Lesson learned: I take responsibility for not researching in advance to connect with an artist who cared about my wishes and had the patience to bring the vision to life, and I never should have gone ahead with either tattoo given the situations, but I really don’t believe I did anything to merit the treatment that I received.Long story short, the artists are very talented and do great work, but if you are looking for a mutually respectful interaction and fun experience, I would not suggest taking the gamble on getting tattooed here.

Incredible studio. Reid, Paul and Melissa have alot of passion. Reid drew the tattoos right away when we walked in and Melissa did them a couple of days later. She has a gift with the needle, her lines and shading are unbelievable. Thanks for drawing on me.
