Little Miss Vintage

It's nice store we with some items but I dont think I'll be back because :1) one fitting room, waited to be next in line to find out there was one person in front of me for fitting. 2) some things are severely overpriced.i needed a simple men's Tshirt and couldn't find anything less than $20 for not even decent look T-shirt. Just because the shirt has a picture of celebrity on it doesn't mean the price of $60 is justified.So I went on along the road to the neighboring thrift store to get two shirts for 10 bucks.

Nicole was so helpful when I went into the store — she helped me find the perfect pair of 70’s flared pants, answered all of my questions, and had a kind attitude that made me feel welcome immediately. I can’t wait to come back!

Avoid if you are a person of color —I recently had an extremely uncomfortable experience in this store. My partner and I had come from the vintage market up the street with a small bag and decided to go into this store that we’d never been before.I am of Mexican descent and immediately, the staff person was following me around the store, asking me if my white partner was my husband, and other invasive questions about my life in what could almost be described as an interrogation. It was clear they thought I was going to steal something and stayed within 3 ft of me the whole time. It was horrible and embarrassing. We left quickly and I will never be back into this store again. The items in the store seemed nice but I didn’t really get a change to look at anything. I understand that theft is a concern but I hope the store will do better, this was so blatant and disrespectful.***this was not overly friendliness, this person did not smile at me once, nor did they make any attempt to have an actual conversation with me. They did not respond to my answers even when I was trying to make light hearted comments to diffuse tension. They followed me in a way that felt hostile. I’m not going to be gaslight into believing it was something else. It may be an unconscious thing that they didn’t realize they were doing but it speaks to the work that needs to be done.

They have an incredible amount of everything. I must say I really liked the jewelry selection and scarves. Nicole the sales person was very helpful and offered some good suggestions. Thanks Nicole, I'll definitely will be back.

I love this place! Nicole who works there is an amazing stylist with an incredible eye and put together outfits for me that I would never have thought of! Thanks for making me look so hot, Nicole!

Super fun, small lil' vintage store on Commercial! I'm from out of town and wanted to check out some thrift/vintage stores on my latest trip to Vancouver. Little Miss Vintage was a couple blocks away from where I was staying and ended up being my favourite of the vintage shops I visited. It's a small shop packed full of nicely curated vintage from the 60s to the 90s (and probably more!). Dressy and casual, denim and dresses, sweaters and t-shirts, punk and preppy, lots of nice jewellery, shoes and bags. I like that the items are more unique and not just mall stuff from the 90s. Decent little sale rack as well. My favourite score of the day was a velvet Betsey Johnson tiger print mini-dress! I will be sure to shop here whenever I'm in town. Nice and attentive staff, too!

Rare, fun clothes. Nicole was sweet and super helpful. She found me the exact items I needed for a party and some everyday accessories. Recommended!

Little Ms Vintage is a dream shop, full of so many beautiful objects, a selection of vintage clothing and curios. Nicole was so wonderful, full of suggestions and ideas for my vision of an outfit I wanted to create for a special event. I look forward to shopping there again.

Summary: Employees here have no boundaries when it comes to commenting on your size & racially profiles customers.I’ve tried to give this store a chance to redeem itself over the years but finally swearing off this place forever. I’ve had an increasingly uncomfortable experience each time I’ve been here.Note: I mostly shop secondhand and this place is in short walking distance so I was willing to give them a few chances based on convenience.One visit included comments about garments I would look at, like, “that won’t fit you, that’s too big for you, etc.” Another time was when I tried on some pieces and a dress didn’t fit. One of the sales people still wanted to see the dress so I stepped out. The other remarked, “see I knew it wouldn’t fit.”The last straw and last time I went in was when I was singled out as the only person of colour in the shop and was stalked around. Everyone else was treated kindly and welcomed to the store.I realize now why their store isn’t over picked like most vintage stores in East Vancouver. Anyway, this reminds me that there are so many other friendly and interesting vintage stores to check out in town!
