I love this little hidden away gem in the small town of Calmar! The amount of food you get compared to the priced you pay is incredible. Great bang for your buck! I've gotten a sandwich, a big bowl of soup & a cappuccino for under $15. I couldn't finish. So good!The soup is always amazing!!

Awesome little cafe on the main street. Great decor, wood everywhere, barnwood walls. Excellent home made bread for sandwiches, home made soups & treats. Don't leave without having dessert!

We had a wonderful lunch in this small room in a great new building in Calmar. Delicious soups, sandwiches, and squares. Well worth a drive in the country for nearby Edmontonians.

My girlfriend and I stopped here while on the return leg of our bicycle tour and were very impressed with the décor (actually the surrounding professional building is very nice and comfortable), staff friendliness and food suggestions, and the quality of the sandwiches and salad we had. They were kind enough to bring our order out to the table downstairs and outside on the street. Prices were reasonable. We would definitely come back again on our next tour.

Best soup and sandwiches in the world! The focaccia bread is fantastic! The staff are always very friendly and the atmosphere is very rustic and trendy. An absolute must in Calmar!

Without a doubt...THE Best BLT I've had!! The caramel macchiato was PERFECT! Calmar is lucky to have this cafe as their own! Thank you to Kari for making some amazing eats!!

The coffee is fresh and amazing. All the meals are fair priced and delicious. The bad part is the deserts get me every time. Best place in Calmar for lunch and coffee.

On a vacation excursion from Edmonton, we found this little gem and stopped for lunch. We have discerning tastes and I have issues with presrvatives creating a negative reaction, so finding healthy, tasty, preservative free meals is difficult, and usually on the upper range of expense.I tried the soup and focaccia. It was a chicken qinoi in a beautifully balanced tomato broth. Perfectly seasoned with the right hint of spicy heat (I like it mild). The focaccia was soft with a great blend of those italian spices. The softness was a lovely change and no need for oil or butter. At $5.50 for that order it was shocking low. At $7.00-$8.00, it would still have been a bargain.The lemon square looked inviting with a perfect dusting of icing sugar saying, buy me!". I did. A great blending of lemon filling on a shortbread base that was neither too tart or too sweet.We will definately be back as the dedication to fresh

The food was delicious. The hot chocolate was wonderful and served with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The service was very friendly. I would recommend this cafe to everyone.

Best roast beef sandwich I have had...thick roast beef, bakery fresh bread with lettuce and tomato. Latte was excellent too, rich flavour... home baked deserts YUM - we will definately come back!!!
