National Defence Headquarters of the Canadian Armed Forces also known as NDHQ Carling. These are government offices strictly for the Department of National Defence with restricted access. It is a great campus with many amenities for employees. Including gym, restaurants and coffee

Beautiful, modern building.

A beautiful DND campus with many amenities like a dental clinic, barber shop, variety of food options, nature trails. Unfortunately, these are all wasted because of the ongoing parking situation.If you are moving here for work, you will not receive a parking spot. You must apply for and share a parking pass with another commuter. If you still need to park solo, $10/day for a pass.The reconstruction of this campus has been planned-out for years, so this parking situation was an intentional decision despite the still increasing amount of people working here. It's an extra stress on over half the employees who are forced to work from home or use the bus. I personally know several people who have retired or transferred to another workplace because of the situation. You feel punished for going to work.
