Joel is a liar, a bully, and a horrible businessman.  When a transaction from his site fell through...we contacted him and his wife, Lisa (who he kept referring to as his receptionist making it sound like he had no idea what was going on). They ignored us hoping we'd just go away while they pocketed our money. When we took action and Visa reversed our payment for the transaction that wasn't fulfilled...well Joel got NASTY. Everything from multiple harrassing phone calls to petty name calling. And when he insisted on an agreement...one that Visa strongly advised us against...we gave in...choosing to trust this man that claimed he was a man of his word". Well Joel....that simple $50 you decided to skim off the top of this agreement that we reluctantly followed ....has earned you this very negative review in the hopes that others will stay far away from you.  Shame on you."

Have bought and sold many things over the past 2 years through JRS Auctions, the smoothest auction business across Durham/Clarington for sure. Get ahold of Joel.

With out a doubt the rudest owner of a business I have ever met. Was looking at a motor home. Price on the window of 60K. He wasn't even interested in unlocking it so I could see inside. I wouldn't bid on anything on his site. Told him we drove 2 1/2 hours to see it and he couldn't care less.In response to your responseNumber 1 No where in the information a) Auction details b) Bidders terms of use or c) Terms and Conditions does it say Call ahead and make an appointment to view" any itemNumber 2 I was at the location on Bloor St. at 2 pm was told the bus was not at that location and told were it was. went there immediately to find it locked. Called the number 8 times with no answer so went back and spoke to owner at 3pm. Viewing hours were 10 until 4. So he is also a LIARNumber 3 Where the bus was is not my problem. Website says "Preview Date/Time Saturday August 21/21 10-4 pm Sunday August 22/21 10-4 pm."Number 4 This one just shows how poor a business man he is. I was angry but dealing with angry customers is part of business.Number 5 So does this mean people can only list nice reviews. Strangely if you look at all of the reviews on Facebook and Google there are only nice things said about this staff and nothing about him. I wonder why?Again I WOULD NEVER SPEND A DIME AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!"

Heard nothing but positive feedback about JRS Auctions so went and met the team and was blown away by the advertising reach, professionalism, and most importantly straight talk from Joel and his qualified team!A first class operation that are a pleasure to deal with! We have now done a bunch of business and plan to do more in the days ahead.*the JRS Auction team sold this car for our family and exceeded the reserve by a number of thousand, we were paid immediately and all of our contract was fulfilled, as promised.We now recommend and understand the power behind online auctions!Thank-you

Dropped off some tools and building materials for him to sell. He sold them then called me when my cheque was ready for pick up. Nice and easy and the old lady off my back for now! Thanks for being helpful.

What an outstanding variety of stock JRS has. There is definitely something for everyone. Their staff was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I will be attending many more auctions in the future.
