Make It Fit Alterations

Just visited to tailor my suit because the store I purchased from was to busy for alterations. For the blazer and pants they wanted 307$ which included a 15% discount. Please do me a favour and do not spend your money here. When a custom suit tailor is telling you that is an extremely high price, you know it’s outrageous

My go-to tailor! I take all my suits and pants here to get altered. The service is friendly and always on time. The tailor takes his time going through and explaining everything he would alter in your garments, which makes you feel comfortable as a customer. He doesn’t try to upsell you either; he’s declined to do some things that would’ve been unnecessary to help save your money. I would 100% recommended!

One star is even to much for this place. total rip off don't know anything about alterations over priced and the damaged my suit I don't recommend this place save your money!!!!!!

I found the quality of their work was unprofessional. When I brought alteration mistakes to their attention, they did nothing to adjust the mistakes that they made. I was overcharged to begin with and, in the end, I was not reimbursed any money for their mistakes. The quality and professionalism of this store was seriously under par. Below are pictures of the quality of their work. You will see that the shoulder was folded under and created a lump rather than opened and resown. Also, the bottom of the dress was shortened and completely uneven. It would work great if it were a beach scene because it was all wavy.

I had a bad experience.I asked to have the waist altered and they added darts. As soon as I tried the jeans on the threads ripped out. This was done very poorly, and now I am calling and nobody is answering. (Also says no refunds on the receipt).I am upset because these are new jeans and I hope they can be fixed.

Please save your money and go someplace else. The owner is a scammer/fraud. They have garbage skills and garbage service. Avoid this place at all cost. They charge way too much. This business is closing down very soon.

I called ahead of time to specifically ask for one of the employees I dealt with regularly years ago. I was told she was coming in after 3pm. When I went later that SAME day after 3pm, the story was very different. Same man then told me she had ‘retired” after Covid.I asked if there were new owners, he denied but strangely, had to ask for my info because they got ‘new computers’.I was then quoted $15 and minutes later, changed to $20 for hem. The stitching was awful! You could see the bad stitching in the photos!!I should have known. This place was always busy in the past, but that day not a single person.Lesson learned the hard way. When someone lies to get you in, don’t give them your business or trust their work.

I never leave reviews for anything but very upset with the way my dresses were altered. First this place is VERY expensive! The owner justfies it by saying that it is in a mall and the work he does is very good. But, 2 of the 3 dresses I brought in to do minor alterations had oil stains on them (they dont wash off). Alterations were very badly and highly unprofessionally done, folded and sawed together. I would understand if I paid $10 for each but it was five times that. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!

Old owners were fine and had reasonable prices. The new owners now are way overpriced. I had 2 pants hemmed because the bottom was too large and he charged me $150. I just did the same alteration at a different location and it was a $20 charge. Fool me once shame on you. Go somewhere else. Way overpriced.

Took some cushions to have sewn, all they had to do was sew the edges with the forms in, total disaster, service and attitude was so poor. Expensive also. I will never step foot in this place again. I use to go all the time with the previous lady owner who was so professional and reasonably priced. I do believe the previous owners may have opened up on Major Mackenzie near a smallplaza between Weston and Pine Valley.
