Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic of Alberta

I would like to start off by saying my experience with my mom at this clinic has been absolutely wonderful! The front staff has always been accommodating of my moms needs. The clinic is welcoming and I find that we never have to wait in the waiting room like other clinics. The doctors and front staff are outstanding and always have a smile on their faces. I was in desperate need for answers and had questions relating to my moms appointment which were all answered. The front staff was able to answer all my questions and called me back whenever a voicemail was left.I would recommend this clinic to anyone

It was painful just trying to book. 3 calls and a total of 48 minutes on hold, promises to phone me back that were not fulfilled, 2 e-mails sent that I never got replies to. Finally got booked and was told I would get an e-mail with the details, never got one. Tried phoning 4 times to confirm, nobody ever answered, Sent an e-mail to confirm, never got a response. Sent an e-mail to cancel my appt as I will get a referral to a different place. No confidence in this clinic.

I had a phone appointment last August 2 and no calls from them. i give them a call back 8 times just to follow up, Then the receptionist told me they called me 5mins after i called them to remind my appointment but i havent got any calls from them. i asked them if dr. gill can call me back, they said okay. then i waited for almost an hour. then i gave them a call again then they hanged up so i called them once again! told them that i already waited for a lot of times. my phone can't receive privated number calling or no caller ID. if thats the case why dont they use the clinic number like our family doctor at pacific place medical centre do. She used the extension number of their clinic. (THE RECEPTIONIST WILL ALWAYS EXCUSED THAT THEIR LINE WAS CUT AND THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BLAHH BLAHH BLAHH)they didnt even give me another appointment to discuss my results. and they're only discuss it within 5mins.this place has no respect to patients. ALSO, even you have an appointment they gonna let you wait for an hour sitting on the lobby without letting you know what's the reason. i know that sometimes doctors getting behind with the patients but atleast the receptionist assist the patients. BUT THEY DONT CARE! maybe you should trained your receptionist again for how to treat well the patients.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! I researched endocrinologists in Calgary THOROUGHLY. That is why I chose to see Dr. Gill. When I arrived today, she wasn't there. Another doctor (Holland) was seeing her patients. Why did the clinic not phone and let me know?? I waited months AND drove 2 hours for this appointment! It was a complete waste of time. Dr. Holland has no bedside manners WHAT SO EVER. She is rude. She belittled our concerns and insulted our family doctor's competency. I would have NEVER selected her based on her online reviews. All of the negative reviews posted by her patients are ACCURATE! I was informed that she started at this clinic last week. I will be seeking a referral ELSEWHERE.

I had a phone appointment yesterday and received no calls. Called 3 times just to follow up, I was told to wait. I waited whole day. Then the reception told me they rescheduled the appointment to next morning because dr Gill called me twice and my phone can't receive privated number calling? (although I had no problem receiving calls from my family doctor). Ok that's fine.Today again I waited for a whole day. No one called me. EVEN THOUGH I called 3 times during the day to follow up. As a patient,I tried my best to be reasonable and I understand doctor can be really busy. But this place has no respect to people. They won't spare you even 1 minute for a lab result phone call,even you make the appointment weeks ago.I won't recommend this place to anyone. IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE, AVOID IT.

The clinic is very quiet and the receptionist are very accomodating. I never have to wait a long time before the doctor sees me. Dr. Tabbassum i warm and I can feel her concern as my doctor.

The services that I receive from DECA clinic is excellent. Dr. Aashna Gill and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I would have no doubt in recommending them to friendly and friends.

Today I was there I left my baby with my son the nurse helped me very quickly and thank you for the help also doctor Vijay helped me a lot and very friendly I went there for the first time 10/10

Doctors and pharmacist very nice and helpful.Receptionists are the worst I've ever experienced. Very rude and disrespectful. Do not help at all! I've called many times, never gotten an answer to my questions. Either the clinic should change up their front desk staff or the doctors should find another clinic as their front desk ruins the whole experience. I can't explain how bad they are at their job.

I wish I could give zero stars to this clinic. I waited months to get in and see Dr Gill. She barely looked at me, barely spoke to me, gave me a requisition for bloodwork (the same bloodwork that my doctor had already done), and away I went. I was in her office for ten minutes, and spent eight of those minutes waiting in the reception area. The doctor seemed completely uninterested. She booked a time and date for a phone follow up with me and then never called. Neglect at its most obvious, and I wish Alberta Health would contact me about this doctor"
