We are here from the UK and had a delicious home cooked meal here, including the fully loaded Poutine which I'd highly recommend! The staff were lovely and really helpful and informative, especially with us asking loads of annoying questions about the area, the history of the food etc! They even surprised us with a late valentine rose at the end of our meal, which made our day!

The food at this place is fantastic. The pizza is the best I've ever had. There are a lot of unfortunate rumours circulating about the owner right now, as you can see from the last review. The review by Jess M. is not true at all. You don't know me, Jess M, but I know you and you are a liar!! Nothing you put in that post is true. The owner would literally give a shirt off his back, if someone else was in need.

We are so lucky to have such an experienced chef living in our community who has decided to open this restaurant. The food is high quality and Chef Steve will do whatever takes to make sure you are satisfied. Sometimes the wait can be long, but it’s because they are busy. Relax and have a beer, have a chat with your fellow neighbour, and be patient because it will be worth it. Highly recommended.

My family and I went here for breakfast and the food was wonderful, and the service was fast and friendly. We also planned a private event and the food and drinks were spectacular. We had a four course meal, and everything was brought out hot and at the same time. Really fun and creative drink menu, great service, and a friendly owner and staff. Would definitely recommend this pub to friends and family.

It really has a Blacksmith themed and rustic interior, but it delivers gastropub quality food without question. The salads are fresh and even the small is generous. The fish and chips were practically perfect - hot, crispy batter, fresh fish, lemon wedge, home made tartar sauce, tasty fries and coleslaw. Washed down with a good New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from their short wine list. Craft beer is served in tall cans, but draft is coming soon. You should visit if you’re in the area!

Our recent visit to Blacksmith Bistro was an absolute delight! We had the pleasure of trying their traditional poutine, as well as their haddock with fries. Not only were the meals sumptuous, but they were also generously sized and totally worth the price.What really stood out to me was the warmth and hospitality of the chef and staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a great dining experience. You don’t often see this level of service and hospitality up here, but I was pleasantly surprised!The atmosphere of the bistro was equally memorable. The wooden rustic ambience with glossy tables and leather chairs gave it the most amazing feel, we were lucky to have the flurry snow outside the wide glass windows, it all just added to the overall charm of the place! It was the perfect setting for a big winter meal, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.The food was exceptional, with the vegetarian traditional poutine being a particular highlight. The perfect combination of crispy fries, rich gravy, and creamy cheese curds was a treat for the taste buds. The haddock and fries were equally delicious, extremely fresh and cooked to perfection and the fries being crispy and flavorful.Overall, my experience at Blacksmith Bistro was nothing short of amazing. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was cozy and charming, and the chef and staff were warm and hospitable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience! It’s worth the drive from Toronto!

We have done take out and dine in from here, and enjoyed the food and the service. Veggie burger was great, and the fries were excellent. Huge fish and chips portions, and great wings. Will definitely visit again when in the area.
