Taco Del Mar
I got here pretty late one Saturday night finding the place dead which was great because I was first in line. I ordered two soft chicken tacos. They were about 8 bucks including tax, which isn't overly expensive, but I wouldn't exactly call it great value for money either.The food was good, the only thing was that some of the toppings looked like they'd been standing there all day or more. Kind of dried out and crusty looking.

First time in, tacos were on point, loved it. Second time (a couple of months later), I doubt any of the food could pass anyone's standards, let alone a food inspector. Everything was dried out with lids left off, looked days old (refried beans were actually dry and brittle, and rice was dried out and hard). Tasted the way it looked, like a sad rolled up piece of garbage with hot sauce on it. I love tacos/mexican food, but would sadly go to Taco Bell before ever returning to Taco Del Mar. Thank god they served beer, they didn't manage to screw that up (two stars because they serve Mexican beer).

Awesome burritos! I have tried finding a good Mexican quick serve restaurant in Halifax for a while but none had compared to my favorite (Costa Vida).Super happy when I found this place and the burrito was huuuge and filling. Excellent staff at this location as well, very friendly and attentive.Though there was an issue with the soda machine when we were there they offered us a bottle instead. Will definitely return!

Pretty good if you order in-store. A step up from something like taco bell, certainly. However I've ordered delivery from them 5 or 6 times and there's been a problem every time. Either they get my order totally wrong, the food is cold, or an item is missing entirely.I won't be getting delivery from them ever again, but if I'm in the area I might drop in.

Great food and great service. I have eaten at Taco Del Mars across the continent and the one in Halifax is one of the best. If you want fresh and authentic Cal-Mex food and love burritos then this is the place for you.

After an unsatisfying experience with delivery here, my partner and I called to complain. I was worried we would get a run around however we received the exact opposite. The owner called me directly to sort out the issue we had. Justin was professional and friendly, it was easy to see why the other employees have such great customer service with him as a leader. We tried Taco Del Mar again and absolutely loved our meal.Friendly, down to earth quality service with amazing food to back it up! We'll be back for sure.

The worst food I've ever eaten, I took one bite out of their tacos and I threw them out. The beef" didn't even taste close to beef I'm not sure what kind of meet they're using but their "beef" is not beef. The salsa tastes like what I'd imagine an old garbage can tastes like and it was runny like soup. Please do not eat here"
