Hôtel Le Petit Lac Ste-Adèle

We went for a romantic getaway in the Laurentian Mountains. Upon arrival there was a nice in-room jacuzzi tub, complimentary paddle boats to take out on a small private lake amidst the gorgeous fall colours. The $250 damage deposit in addition to the room price ($210) was a bit draconian, but I guess they've had some issues in the past. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. In-room fireplaces were not working because they are having issues with the insurance company, which took a bit of the magic away too.

Although this hotel falls in a good location, I would never recommend it. I rented the entire venue including every single room this summer for an event. Initially, the owner gave us an appealing, yet completely misleading overview of what was “included”. Not only were we mislead, we got absurd and nonsensical fees charged a week after the event, without allowing us to have a say, completely ignoring us. They also refused to take initiative of the most basic matters leading up to the event and during. Essentially, they were only present to take their money and keep a close eye on our guests, very disappointing and expected better.

We booked through Expedia and chose this “hotel” primarily for having a fireplace in the room. However, upon arriving at this MOTEL we saw it was a wood fireplace with no wood. Had we been advised we’d have planned accordingly. Front desk googled a couple places we could go buy firewood, the nearest being closed and others too far after arriving and just wanting to relax by the fire! Beyond that the windows were filthy making what could be a beautiful view look hazy and foggy. We felt it was not advertised as it is. The bathroom pics should have been a clue that the entire place was old, not rustic. Despite the fact that all we did was walk in and see the rooms immediate shortcomings, they kept 25% of the cost for cleaning purposes. Maybe it will actually be clean for the next people, but it was totally worth it to pay to NOT have to stay there!

This hotel is a gem in Saint Adele! The rooms are clean and have a beautiful view on the lake from the window! The room is soundproof and very quiet!I stayed there for two nights and really enjoyed the place with the heated pool and the jacuzzi.I will certainly come back to this hotel!

So calm and peaceful place. Connected with nature, perfect for a relaxing stay. The spa is enjoyable, don’t miss it ;).True gem of ste Adele, with plenty of things to do around.The reception lady is very kind and knowledgeable.I recommend!

What a nice surprise, from a last minute need for accommodation. The staff was warm and very inviting. The room was quite spacious and very clean. Bonus points for the Keurig machine in the room!This hotel is situated on a beautiful little lake; which made for a very picturesque scene when we woke up in the morning. They have a large property with various garden furniture to enjoy. A outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna. All very clean and well maintainedFor sure, I will stay there again at some point this winter, and again next summer.

I was quite pleased with the service at this hotel. After reviewing a few places in the area to hold my 50 person event, my wife and I decided that this was the best place for us. All our guests were completely fulfilled with this true up north experience. The rooms were well equipped and very clean.

We had an event at this hotel, our daughter’s first birthday, and we absolutely recommend this venue. The staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our experience unforgettable. They helped us create a very festive environment outside for our party. The premises are gorgeous, especially in the summer with the lake and the huge patio with pool area. The management even let us use the kitchen for our catering and the restaurant area in case of rain. We rented a room to sleep the night and we got an updated room with a beautiful bathroom, a whirlpool bath and electric fireplace. The bedding was very comfortable. The staff really made us feel home and we would definitely go back again.

We booked a room on Thursday for the next Saturday and we didn't have too much expectations.Once we got there we were charmed by the surrounding lake and landscapes. The room was very clean and the hotel staff very friendly. They try really hard to keep the place clean and welcoming.We would definitely return this summer.
