Studio North Vancouver | Dance Classes

There is a special blessing and light over this studio. You guys have done an incredible job in setting the tone for this place. The community atmosphere is welcoming and warm unlike any other dance studio that I’ve been to. Not only are they incredible high level dancers but the teachers are all, everyone of them, adds to the community. They encourage, challenge you and build you up. At SN you can’t help but build connections and friendships. It makes it very easy to do your part to contribute to the culture and to be an encouraging voice to others. This studio is more than just a place to dance.I could go on about everyone but just to highlight two in particular. Joyce and Kristina are super sweet, they are present and make time for all of their students. Kristina sees us, she sees the beauty each student has in the unique ways we express ourselves and she invests in us to bring out our best. I often seem to struggle differently in Joyce's class, I swear it's because God knows every time she will genuinely encourage me in the most loving way lol her heart is so pure, I can't think of a better class to push my comfort zone in.I have been coming to SN for 7 months now. I was hesitant at first because I thought that filming class could make the environment competitive and about superficial things rather than dance. The filming does not cut into class time by having classes run 1.25hrs. The teachers are very fair and inclusive, of everyone in the room from absolute beginners to advanced, from new SN student to long time member. You guys have done an excellent job. I’m truly impressed that you have pulled that off. This place is about community, dance and growth.Thanks Scott and Carmen.

Love the vibe there. Haru is such an amazing instructor. Had so much fun and enjoyed the music and dance :)

A friend recommended the studio, and it was my first time dancing choreography. It was fun, and I do enjoy it. Looks forward to trying another style of dance.

Studio North is one of the best dance studios in Vancouver. Multiple levels and styles offered with various teachers every week. The staff are all super friendly and helpful! The studio is a great way to increase your dance skills, gain experience in faster paced environments and get used to dancing on camera. They’ve been nothing but welcoming since I started coming in and I can’t wait to keep practicing here :)

It was my first time there and I loved the beginner lesson with Haru Nakajima! She is full of energy and made the class very fun and easy to learn :)

Took a beginners class today and had the absolute best time. The energy, the location, and everything about the place overall is incredible.
