The hike itself was challenging so that was fun. However the view was kind of... Meh. I got 3 ticks on me and my husband got one as well. There were so many mosquitos. Dress well!! We waded through a lot of mud which is fine but I should have worn different shoes.

When you get close, keep an eye out for the parking. It’s easy to spot if looking for it, but not much signage.The trail was a large fun loop. It covers varied terrain, with both difficult and easy patches. If you go in spring and summer months, be prepared with insect repellent; we usually avoid that stuff, but the mosquitoes were plentiful, and there were ticks and flies. Parts of the path are muddy, but it was dry enough for us to avoid the worst. We saw lots of toads, saw an owl fly by, and spotted a porcupine climbing a tree. Wonderful, but long hike.

Room for about 10 to 12 cars max. If it's busy though I imagine there's no problem parking along the edge of the road here. No facilities here so go before you go!

Great piece of land to hike. We did the south loop with the lookouts just last weekend and it took us about 3 hours at a moderately leisure pace. Terrain was rocky as predicted, muddy in some places, well indicated by the blue signs.Hiking boots a must, for sure.Ticks mid-October? Yes. Deer ticks. 3 on the hubby and 1 on me. Definitely wear long socks over your long pants. Just a recommendation...Sights: beautiful, especially this time a year when the the colours of the leaves are changing!Would hike again? Totally!

Marble Rock Conservation Area Parking
This trail is actually quite challenging. there are many elevation changes and rocky terrain. The trail is marked by blue signs which helped to stay on track however the distances and anticipated time for the various loops is very unclear. We hiked the North loop naively thinking it was no further then the south loop and ended up taking 5.5 hours (we had small children) to complete. If you are prepared for its challenges the scenery is magnificent! walking through these majestic boulders was an epic experience for us all!
