Mamma Mia pizza

Part of the trifecta of what I consider to be the best three pizza places in Kingston, depending on my mood lol.. Momma Mia, Appollo and Big Bobs.Not sure any pizza place is as busy as Momma Mia, expect an hour long wait during peak times on Friday and Saturday nights.My only warning is avoid the sausage, unless you like breakfast sausage on your pizza.#Pizza

Order #1. Just this morning an Italian Nona said to me that this was the better pizzeria in town. I ordered it pronto and was rather pleased with the experience. Very airy and poufy crust on a normal base. Toppings were generous and good quality. I got the calzone and a small pizza with a side of wings and poutine. For the crust alone I'm coming back. Well worth the money and delivery process is hassle free. Thank you.Order #2. Still tremendous. Ordered the very next day. Only this time, it was a thin crust. Slim/gooey/poufy and well balanced slices of pizza. They missed the onions but a phone call to the ristorante solved my trouble. Thanks to Giovanni. He offered me a discount or a prompt replacement of the pizza. I chose the former cuz the pizza was so good otherwise. I think they're the best pizza joint in town.Order #n. About a year later and countless many pies down the hatch this is still a beautifully done pizza. If you care to look at the pictures you'll see they do their thin slice like absolutely no one else in Kingston at the very least. The thin slice is as close to real Italian Napoli style as it can get locally. Perfect burn marks on the bottom and very easy to fold the slice Portafoglio" style. Air clean flavour on their dough makes for a pleasant bite. The only thing I wish these guys did better would be expanding their menu a tad bit. Add some good Italian sandwiches and maybe offer a different kind of pizza sauce too as an option but overall I still think they are the best in Kingston."

I always order the same thing from various Pizza places and they don't seem to get bit just right. At Mama Mia's Front Rd they heard what I wanted and they nailed it, hands down best pizza yet. Thank you for going the extra mile to ensure that the order was exactly as I requested.

Just moved here from across country and this place came highly recommended so decided to give it a try.It has the potential to be great… flavour and topping ratio was good, followed instructions well, timing and price were great - though maybe a little too fast, because my pizza was undercooked. The dough was still kinda chewy and being undercooked had a kind of “yeasty” flavour and the cheese wasn’t completely melted underneath.Disappointed as I was really looking forward to this, and hoping to find a good go-to pizza joint. Undecided whether or not I’ll give them one more shot or not.

Ordered from the Elliot location it was suppose to be a pepperoni pizza. Ended up getting a cheese pizza. The crust was very thin and hard and had very little taste and very little sauce.

Had the Mamma Mia special last night for dinner. The pizza was a good hot pizza but there was nothing special about it. A little disappointed considering all of the positive reviews.

Not sure why everyone thinks this place is good. I’ve eaten here like five times now, various items and I always wish I hadn’t. Like I just got a cheese curdless poutine with half cooked fries. By the time I was home and realized, I wasn’t going back to complain or see if they could fix it so once again they got me I wish I hadn’t stopped here yet again.

Delicious home style pizza baked in a real pizza oven. Generous amounts of toppings!So much better than any franchise pizza place. We will be back for sure.

For sure the best pizza in town. One issue however. There was a mistake on our order once and they promised a $20 credit on our next order. When we tried to use the credit a few months later on a new order, they denied there was ever a credit, they also said that credits are not valid when ordering pizza on specials. We still sometimes order from them due to the high product quality but they need to improve their business practices with credits when mistakes happen. You cannot promise a credit and not honour it.
