Horrific and traumatic experience with this specialist. I was left shaken up after this doctor was manipulative, and passive to me.After being told by multiple other doctors, and after scans showing concerning results. I was referred to Dr. Ling and told that he would determine if I was to await surgery.The moment I started speaking, he spoke over me to tell me “you’re fine” and that I’m wasting his time. When I voiced to him my previous doctors notes, he rolled his eyes, laughed in my face, and discredited the other professionals who showed concern regarding my ultrasound results. Saying “they are unqualified” and laughing to himself in a passive aggressive way.When I began to try and speak again, he told me I have anxiety, and that everything I’m experiencing is in my head. Even though I clearly have a cyst growing in my sinus canal preventing my breathing. I told him it’s not anxiety, and that the scan showed it but he interrupted me and told me it’s anxiety.I could not say one thing without him interrupting me, making a snarky remark, and telling me what I’m saying is invalid. When I tried to ask why he was speaking this way to me he just stared into my eyes and said nothing and then rolled his eyes.Extremely unprofessional. Un empathetic. Should not be a doctor if he doesn’t care for people.Absolutely appalled by this experience.

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Ling as my ENT doctor and my surgeon. Prior to my tonsillectomy (tonsil removal) Dr. Ling made me feel very comfortable going into the surgery, was honest and realistic about what my recovery would be like and had me laughing as I well asleep on the operating table. His staff in his office were very friendly, and the office in general is clean and professional, very happy with my decision to have my tonsils removed and the process leading up to it with Dr. Ling, highly recommend, you are in good hands.

i am not happy with my experience with Dr Ling. He did not care about my concerns and check my problem, but he told my family doctor that he did laryngoscopy for my throat, I even did not take off my mask during that 2 mins visit. How can I trust him anymore?

My family doctor had placed the referral to this doctor. I then received an automated call at 9 p.m. at night stating an 'appointment' date and time over a month ahead; but I was advised to be prepared for at least a one hour wait!? I cancelled the appointment. I will flatly not be subjected to specialists with bad office management; and with overbooking tendencies. I have been there before. I completely understand that if I had to go to hospital emergency for a life-threatening situation; that I would be waiting hours while my life ebbed away. This is Canada; and that's expected. But with this specialist; I had control. One less patient to be given that sort of 'treatment'.

Had my first visit with Doctor Ling, he is very pleasant and takes time to listen. I was very pleasantly surprised he took time to just chat, so nice! Wait time was just over a hour which is understandable when you see a specialist. I definitely recommend Doctor Ling.

We waited 8 months for the appointment, an hour outside the clinic, and were out of there in like, 30 seconds. Why - because they didn't have the equipment that's required for checking my 10-month old baby's hearing/ ear fluid. No empathy, no concern of what we might be going through at all. Simply said that I have no means of doing this. BYE. Pathetic!!

Tonsillectomy patient here.The staff at the office with Dr. Ling are absolutely wonderful, supportive, and show kindness with each interaction. Always a pleasure to interact with the office staff. Dr. Ling is amazing and is very supportive and understanding as well and hears out his patients concerns. The approach to care is outstanding with even personal notes given to patients after procedure and many sources to help. Overall, I couldn't be happier having Dr. Ling as my ENT and his staff.

Dissatisfaction to the highest level, wait 8 months for an appointment,for this specialist to spend less than 5 mins helping you figure anything out, gives you a piece of paper to explain what you already know and been through.. just another example people brushing of people who genuinely needed support or aid.For working with people with hearing issues he mumbled ..Probably the nicest person was the audiologist tech. Doesn't seem as though he genuinely had any inclination to help me. good luck to anyone who was looking forward to see Dr.Ling... hope he was kinder and helpful to you..

Dr Ling is amazing, however the staff couldn't schedule appointments properly if their lives depended on it. I walked out after 40 minutes. They called me 2 hours later. This was literally a followup appointment, 5 minutes maximum. The receptionist even tried to lie saying I was the only person in my time slot. An hour after opening and over 15 people in the waiting room, are they doing 4 minute appointment windows?

Incredibly friendly staff. Today was our first visit (transferred from another doctor because we moved last year) and they made my 3 year old feel so comfortable during the appointment. All questions were answered and we were in and out quickly. Highly recommend Dr. Ling and this office.
