If your in the Waterloo region, choose someone else. Despite google and their website stating they offer services here, it was clear from their invoice as well as from the owner that they will no longer service here. We were charged $480.00 for labor, for a 30 minute filter/chemical/UV bulb change (total bill came out to $950.00 for one guy, when previous bills were in the 500-600 range for 2 guys). When I contested the price I was told we were charged for labor to drive. This pricing was never discussed over the phone nor was it responded via email. If they would have mentioned the fact that there would be extra travel charges coming out to Waterloo I would have found a local plumber. (Fyi, only reason for booking hunter was because they serviced our systems for easily close to 10 years or more - according to their install dates). There's much more to say on how Craig conducted himself during our conversation - all I can say is make sure you record your calls, communicate through email, or get a fully itemized quote before considering them.

Got home from the cottage and our well water system wasn’t running, they were here and had it fixed less than 30 mins after we made the callAMAZING service! The only plumbers we’ll recommend!!

The team from hunter responded immediately. Within what felt like hours they were on scene. They diagnosed and corrected the problem. They explained their solution was temporary and we were going to need a more solid response. They explained the options and explained the entire process. They responded again within 5 days and started installing the septic system.Owen has been out lead on this project and he is nothing but professional and forthcoming. His teammate Erik(c) have been amazing. They have worked diligently and with purpose everyday they have been here. They have progressed extremely quickly. As someone whom has never had to deal with such an issue I can stay they have kept us calm, reassured us with every question and showed us we can trust this company.I would highly recommend this company to anyone for any of their needs. Hunter Plumbing came out and diagnosed our well & why it was not functioning. They got it fixed and gave us water back to our house in 2 days less than anticipated. Their staff were courteous and very understanding of our dire situation. I would recommend them for any issues you may be having with your well whether it be to fix the problem or replace the problem.Thanks to Craig and his team for an amazing job well done!!

We had a leaking garage tap repaired. The employees arrived early and did a great job. We highly recommend this company!

Would definitely recommend any plumber before this outfit. Had them change my well pump and they threw the old one down the well!! Owner said there was nothing he could do. Are you kidding me!! RUN!!!

We used Hunter a couple times while we lived in Princeton and they were a great local plumber to work with. We had them come to inspect and fix our well pump, as well as install a new water line to our kitchen at our new place closer to Kitchener. If you're in the Princeton or surrounding area, I highly recommend Hunter for your plumbing needs.

There still are great people out there ! Here is my first experience with Hunter Plumbing. My wife and I are new to country living , we opened our pool last week and emptied the well ....... ha ha now but not too funny then. We managed to get a local company to deliver water on a Friday afternoon. Once the well and pool were filled we could not pump water into the house. We called Hunter Plumbing and discussed our situation with them , remember this is now later Friday afternoon. I was told that our chances of getting a plumber in late on a Friday afternoon was not too good and that if we chose to get someone in on Saturday it would be on overtime rates. After talking with them for a while Craig " asked us to send him some pics of the equipment we currently had in our basement that pumped the water from the well to our inside tank.He was able to tell us what to do to fix the problem over the phone through a series of text messages. We were prepared to pay whatever it was going to take to get a plumber out to our home on the Saturday and we were never charged for this.Craig my wife and I would like to thank you for being a great person

Lived in drumbo and used them exclusively as I felt they had fair prices and were punctual. Have since moved, but kept the house in drumbo as a rental. I am confident that if my tenant has a problem, they can call Hunter and get the problem resolved quickly and at a reasonable price. It takes a huge load off my mind to have a trustworthy company like them near by. Choose local, don't go for the big guys!
